The erosive behaviour was investigated by impinging the alumina particles of 50 μm size and various angle of impingement at different velocity and feed rate (abrasive particle) range. The experimental study concluded that severe wear was found at 30 o impingement and alumina abrasive particles were embedded in test sample at high angles 60 o & 75 o and hence this shows the ductile nature of polypropylene polymer. This study also concluded that polypropylene talc filled (PPT10 & PPT20) were maximum wear out as compared to polypropylene unfilled (PPUF01 & PPUF02).The melt flow index also significantly affects the erosive wear behaviour of talc filled polypropylene polymer because value of melt flow index of 20% talc filled polypropylene (PPT20) were severely wear out as compared...

Engine oil sample have been analysed by Spectrometric oil analysis program and oil test center (kittiwake), determine the wear rate, and overall service condition of an engine, along with spotting potential problems and catastrophic failure before it happens. After experiment work have been done, results show information of petrol engine car has max wear of component as compare to diesel engine car. Both petrol and diesel engine car oil samples have been contaminated by water and acid at same level. Due to increased water and acid content present in oil, corrosion increased.

In this analysis the performance of vapor compression cycle evaluated theoretically with d ifferent refrigerant and at different mass fraction. In vapor compression refrigerat ion system, the commonly used refrigerant is R134a Tetra -fluoroethane (C2H2F4) and here we are using R290a Propane (C3H8) and R600a Isobutane (C4H10) for evaluating various parameter separately and also at different mass fraction about 25%-75%, 50%-50% and 75%-25% respectively and also at different outside condition by varying outside temperature. The evaluation was made in term of various performance parameters such as volumetric efficiency, compressor discharge temperature, condenser temperature, pressure ratio, cooling capacity and coefficient of perform...

Th is interrelationship between engine performance and engine lubricant is an important diagnos tic tool to evaluate the engine health and performance. In the present work, various different running distances used engine oil samples were diagnosed for found a relation between running distances and level of depletion of o il properties and also the condition of engine. The various lubricating o il test methods were used for determine the level o f deplet ion of physical p roperties of the used engine oil. Comparative study between level of fresh oil and used oil properties also has been done. The total ba se and acid number, viscosity, water content in o il, total insoluble present in oil, extreme pressure and anti wear properties tests were done on oil samples. The results shows that used oil samples has been contaminated water ...

High neonatal mortality is a prominent and persistent problem across the globe. Non-availability of trained staff and infrastructure are the major recognized hurdles in the quality care of these neonates. Hourly progress growth charts and reports are still maintained manually by nurses along with continuous calculation of drug dosage and nutrition as per the changing weight of the baby. iNICU (integrated Neonatology Intensive Care Unit) leverages Beaglebone and Intel Edison based IoT integration with biomedical devices in NICU i.e. monitor, ventilator and blood gas machine. iNICU is hosted on IBM Softlayer based cloud computing infrastructure and map NICU workflow in Java based responsive web application to provide translational research informatics support to the clinicians. iNICU captures real time vital parameters i.e. respiration rate,...

The pedal operated pump can be construct using local material and skill. A water system includes a Centrifugal pump operated by pedal power. The pump stand includes a housing in which a foot pedal and a drive shaft rotate. It works on the principle of compression and sudden release of a tube by creating negative pressure in the tube and this vacuum created draws water from the sump. This bicycle pedal operated pumps water at 2-3 gallons per minute from wells and boreholes up to 23 in feet depth. Provides irrigation and drinking water where electricity is not available. They can be built using locally available materials and can be easily adapted to suit the needs of local people. They free the user from rising energy costs, can be used anywhere, produce no pollution and provide healthy exercise. Energy is the primary and most universal measure of all kind of work by human Being and nature. Everything what happen in the world in the expression of flow of energy is one of its form. Most people use the world energy for input to their bodies or to the machines and thus about fuels and power. Energy is an important input in all sectors of counters economy.

Load carrying capacity of lubricating oil is important parameter for their various different applications. The anti-wear and extreme pressure additive properties studied have been found to show anti wear anti friction properties of lubricants under the experimental condition. In this paper, extreme pressure and anti-wear of fresh and used SAE 15W40 and SAE 20W50 grade lubricating engine oil of different working time cycle were investigated. Tests were carried out according to the standard test methods for measurement of wear preventive properties and extreme pressure properties of lubricating oils, using an ASTM D4172 and ASTM D2783. The tests were carried out on Ducom four ball tester TR-30L under atmospheric pressure of lubricating oil at 392N loads and at 75°C temperature with constant speed of 1250 rpm.
