An archaeological inspection of Mangowine Homestead was undertaken on the 18th April 1999. The ho... more An archaeological inspection of Mangowine Homestead was undertaken on the 18th April 1999. The homestead site complex consists of three original buildings, three new or relocated buildings, wells, a soak, tracks and the locations of former buildings and activities including a small graveyard. The various buildings and activities at Mangowine Homestead would have left a series of archaeological deposits. Archaeological deposits are sediments that contain the remains of structures, other man made features, artifacts or ecofacts.
