This method becomes useful as the processing capability becomes limited by the size of the antenna array. Using the bonding process of liquid crystal polymer (LCP), a 3D multi-layer 4times8 patch antenna array has been created and measured at 14

Their ease of fabrication, wide bandwidth, and high gain make them desirable for military and commercial systems. Fabrication on thin, flexible substrates allows the TSA to be conformed over a given body, such as an aircraft wing or a piece of clothing for wearable networks. Previously, a double exponentially tapered slot antenna (DETSA) was conformed around an exponential curvature, which showed that the main beam skewed towards the direction of curvature. This paper presents a linearly tapered slot antenna (LTSA) conformed longitudinally around a cylinder. Measured and simulated radiation patterns and the direction of maximum H co-polarization (Hco) as a function of the cylinder radius are presented.

This LNA has demonstrated a noise figure of 4.3 dB and an associated small-signal gain of 19 dB at 100 GHz with a low DC power consumption of 20 mW. This demonstrates the potential of InP HEMT technology for

Systematic analysis and design technique has been developed. For the first time, X-band lumped quadrature hybrids with low insertion loss and wide bandwidth have been fabricated using a micromachined process technology. Approximately, two order of magnitude

Reduction of the transmission line segments from λ/4 to between λ/5 and λ/12 are reported here. The input and output lines at the three ports and the lines comprising the divider itself are coplanar
