The sample in this research was class X students at a senior high school in Pandeglang, Indonesia. This research uses a descriptive method; data collected using scientific literacy skills tests and interviews. The research results show that students' average scientific literacy ability is 46.61%. Students' ability to explain scientific phenomena is 43%, evaluate and design scientific investigations is 56%, interpret scientific evidence and data is 37%, interest in scientific issues is 48%, support for inquiry activities is 52%, and response to natural resources and the environment by 78%. Based on the results of the interviews, that the learning process in schools still needs to develop students' scientific literacy skills.

Feedback provides students with the guidance and support they need to achieve their learning goals and enhances their motivation and engagement in the learning process. This research study aims to explore the ways in which a supportive classroom environment can be created through effective feedback. The current research addresses the major question: What are the attitudes and perceptions of students towards feedback in the classroom, and how can these be addressed to create a more positive learning environment? A qualitative approach is used in data collection methods. The sample consists of teachers and students from department of English at BS levels at Ghazi University. Data were collected through surveys, interviews, and classroom observations. The findings of this research study contribute to the understanding of how feedback can be use...

However, the reasons behind this are still uncertain. The objective of the current state of the art review research was to inspect the connection between MA and MP under various factors and theories at the school level. A total of 158 full-text studies were chosen by ensuring the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Moderation studies revealed that the link between MA and MP was changed differently depending on the complexity of mathematical assignments, the dimensions of MA, and the impacts on students’ grades. MA evaluated with affective and cognitive dimensions under various theories indicated an adverse relationship with MP. When MA is associated with fundamental mathematical activities, advanced mathematical tasks that demand multiple steps to solve revealed a higher adverse relationship with math anxiety. Furthermore, practical and theoretical aspects of the findings of the study are als...

The traditional or old learning technique is fully replaced by this learning strategy. Several research studies have demonstrated that employing a game-based strategy boosts learning. The purpose of the current review study was to employ descriptive and statistical approaches to compare the learning outcomes of pupils who used a digital game-based learning approach to those who used traditional learning strategies. A total of 26 papers published between 2012 and 2021 were chosen based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The previous research' literature evaluation revealed that the digital game-based learning method has proved to be every operative learning technique in a number of disciplines and learning situations. Learners are extremely engaged in the learning process while using a digital game-based learning technique

There are many approaches to teach writing. Creative writing is one approach of teaching writing which has become more familiar in recent era. In our country many schools of Urdu and English medium are implementing this approach now-a-days to teach writing in the elementary level. This aim of this study is to find out the effectiveness of creative writing in language learning. Now a days there is too much attention of teachers on making students to be creative writer. This study explores the difficulties of creative writing which the Pre O level students consistently face while writing and the effectiveness of creative writing for students. To collect the data the researcher visited Beacon house School located in Valencia Lahore. The researcher provided questionnaires having 15 questions to 40 students of that institute in order to collect information and data from them. The researcher...

From the coastal areas of Karachi to the mountainous terrain of Gilgit Baltistan six major and more than 70 minor languages are spoken in various parts of Pakistan. Urdu relishes the position of National Language whereas the official language of the country is English and is mostly used by the power-wielding strata of the country namely the government functionaries, corporate sector, and education sector. The purpose of the study was to find out the interplay between socioeconomic factors and the phenomenon of language shift. The present research is descriptive in which 300 Urdu speaking children of Saraiki families of D.G. Khan District were selected for data collection. A multiple-choice questionnaire was devised and administered to collect the required data. The results insinuated a strong interplay between socio-economic factors and the...

First, the system that imparts education to more than 90% of the students (Studying through the syllabus and method of Pakistani system) and second is the one that is imparting education to only 10% of the students (Studying through the syllabus and method of Cambridge education system) in Pakistan. The methodologies of teaching English and its syllabus are quite different from each other. The researcher (Teacher of English for Pakistani as well Cambridge system) observed a marginal difference in the level of English language proficiency of the learners studying under these two systems of education. The learners of Cambridge system are found highly equipped with the knowledge of English language but the learners of Pakistani system are lagging behind in the knowledge of English language although students of both the systems are being taught by the Pakistani teachers. Observing this fact, the researcher has focused to conduct research to point out the salient features of these two systems describing the reasons of high proficiency of English language by the learners of Cambridge system and low proficiency by the learners of Pakistani system. This study has been conducted by taking interview of the two students selected one from each system of education. The interview is analyzed critically and lot of attention, reaching at the conclusion that the syllabus, knowledge of teacher and methodologies adopted by the instructors play a vital role in gaining high proficiency of English language by the learners studying through Cambridge system of education.
