However, the benefits of FDI have not been distributed fairly among countries, sectors, and local communities. The goal of this study was to investigate the role and advantages of FDI in Ethiopia. As a result, we used both primary and secondary data. The sample size for the primary data in the study was 384 respondents. The data was analyzed using descriptive and OLS regression model. As a result, the study found that technology, skill, and knowledge transfer to local employees in foreign firms in Ethiopia was limited because key technical positions were held by foreigner employees. Foreign corporations exhibit little charitable concern since there were no clear policy guidelines and minimal mobilization and coordination by local administrators. Besides, FDI had a positive and significant effect on employment growth. It means that FDI had benefits in terms of reducing unemployment problems, although the salary and incentive packages of foreign firms were not adequate for their local employees to live decent life.

The town is one of the market centers, with abundant natural resources and ever green areas of west Ethiopia. Some of the challenges that investment has been faced in the town were social, infrastructure, administrative, Market and investors' related factors. Moreover both quantitative and qualitative methods have been employed as the study involves multiple regression model to know the significance relationship of independent and dependent variables, as well as opinion of the investors have been incorporated. Besides, both primary and secondary data source were used for the analysis. By clustering the investors in to 4 sectors such as Service, Manufacturing, Urban Agriculture and Merchandising/Trade, the sample size has been proportionately distributed. Hence 308 sample size was selected based on finite population statistical formula. Furthermore, the Multiple regression model result shows that the p-value (0.000, 0.001& 0.002 <0.05) of socioeconomic, infrastructures, and administrative factors were significant showing that they had strong relationship with investment attraction in the town.

Hence, the study aims at examining the effect of marketing mix on the relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty in the case of Ethiopian Telecommunication Corporation's Eastern region, focusing on mobile phone customers. The research used structural equation model analysis to test the magnitude impact shown by the path coefficient. The researcher also used 344 usable questionnaires with a response rate of 91.7%. Based on the analysis, the critical ratios for three hypotheses (H1 = 9.318, H2 = 8.955, and H3 = 6.426, respectively) were above the recommended level and the Pvalue was less than 0.01. Hypotheses 1 and 2, which stated that marketing mix has a positive effect on customer satisfaction and loyalty, were supported, besides hypothesis 3, which stated customer satisfaction has a positive effect on customer loyalty, was also supported.
