These old truths, having proved themselves so many times in our history, should make us responsible for the implementation, creation, development, distribution of new scientific theories. The idea of Switching Magnetic Energy is obtained from the principle of Electromagnetic Induction. Electromagnetic induction like in Maglev principle involves the use of electromagnets, which by changing their polarity, sets up attractive and repulsive forces on the lateral sides to propel the train forward and levitate. This magnetic push-pull principle is used in this project to propel an automobile. This concept of mine aims at designing and fabricating a prototype model of a vehicle which runs on an alternative form of propulsion technique i.e., magnetic power. The vehicle was built, assembling of mechanical and electrical components, whic...

The towers are designed in two wind zones I & V with three different base widths 1/4, 1/5 &1/6 of total height of tower. Towers are modeled using parameters such as constant height, bracing system, angle sections and variable parameters of different Base widths and Wind zones. The loads are calculated from IS: 802(1995). After completing the analysis, the comparative study is done with respect to deflections, stresses, axial forces and weight of tower for all 6 different towers.

We describe here design techniques including image scaling, integral image generation, pipelined processing as well as classifier, and parallel processing multiple classifiers to accelerate the processing speed of the face detection system. Also we discuss the optimization of the proposed architecture which can be scalable for configurable devices with variable resources. The proposed architecture for face detection has been designed using Verilog HDL and implemented in Modelsim. Its performance has been measured and compared with an equivalent hardware implementation. We show about 35 time's increase of system performance over the equivalent hardware implementation.

The research done here helps solve the traffic congestion problem at the bottleneck of the networks mainly at the parking slots, by Instance Segmentation algorithms and Deep Learning. The model gets all the initial available parking slots that are available in the given area and real time processing is done on the obtained data to find whether the slots are empty or occupied with any vehicle and gives the information of empty slots. Apart from locating a free parking space for a car, the model also finds out appropriate parking space for two wheelers (less space occupant vehicles). The proposed system shows improved robustness achieving a mask rate of recognition greater than 92.33% and a boundary recognition rate of 98.4%.

The fractional order calculus plays an important role for designing the robust control. The fractional order lead compensator is proposed for enhancing the closed loop performance of azimuth position control of antenna system. From the comparison of the closed loop responses, the proposed lead compensator delivers a superior closed loop performance when compared with PI controller and lead compensator.

The benefits of sustainability-driven innovation and their impacts on performance under the three... more The benefits of sustainability-driven innovation and their impacts on performance under the three dimensions of economic, social and environmental performance has often not been adequately captured. This paper acknowledges the gap and presents a conceptual framework that helps identify the determinants towards fostering innovation performance and explains the relationship with sustainability practices through the pursuit of the exploitation of existing competencies and exploration of new opportunities from a sustainable development perspective. Their eventual impact on innovation performance is assessed from the dynamic capabilities theory perspective. The research contributes to the field of sustainable innovation and provides a roadmap for organisations to bridge the sustainability gap. It provides a holistic framework that examines the relationships of stakeholder sustainability orientation, market orientation, exploration and exploitation regarding innovation performance and its eventual impact on sustainable development. The research helps to confirm that the pursuit of a sustainability agenda is indeed worthwhile for organisations.

The Al 356 is reinforced with SiCp and Mica in the form of particulates. The experiments are carried out as per design of experiments approach using L9 orthogonal array. The optimum machining parameters have been identified by a composite desirability value obtained from desirability function analysis as the performance index, and significant contribution of parameters can then be determined by analysis of variance (ANOVA). Confirmation test is also conducted to validate the test result. Experimental results have shown that machining performance can be improved effectively through this approach. The results were analysed using analysis of variance and response gr...

Epidemiological studies in pediatric skin diseases are less, and it offers most powerful and direct method to evaluate the cause and prevalence of skin diseases in human populations. Objective: To evaluate the epidemiology and prevalence of various dermatological diseases among schoolchildren of Sangareddy, Medak, Telangana state, India. Materials and Methods: This study is a cross-sectional study and was conducted in 1,000 schoolchildren of Sangareddy town and surrounding rural village of Medak district, Telangana state, India. Cases were subclassified according to the etiology and type of skin disease. Results: Total number of affected children was 754 (75.4%), while the number of nonaffected children was 246 (24.6%); 345 (45.15%) of the diseased children were boys, while 409 (54.24%) were girls; 255 of diseased children (33.81%) were living in urban residence, of which 141 (55.1%) were boys and 114 (44.9%) girls; while 499 (66.18%) of the diseased children were from rural residence, of which 205 (40.98%) were boys and 294 (59.02%) girls. Conclusion: This study reveals that girls are more commonly affected by dermatological diseases (41%) and skin diseases were more in rural (49%) children than in urban children (26.40%).

Sixty freshly extracted maxillary premolars were randomly divided into 6 groups of 10 teeth each. All the 60 specimens were then subjected to a compressive load in an Universal Testing Machine (Hounsfield). The loads required to fracture the teeth were recorded and the data, obtained were subjected to statistical analysis and the following results were arrived, Teeth restored' with light cured composite with beta quartz insert showed higher values than light cured composite placed in horizontal increments. The use of the megafiller increased the filler-resin ratio and reinforced the tooth. Composite with, beta quartz, inserts was more resistant to tooth fracture than silver amalgam. Teeth restored with light cured composite incrementally placed in oblique layers. Produced a higher fracture resistance than any other group and showed the closest value to the intact teeth. This was followed in descending order by light , cured composite with beta quartz inserts, silver amalgam and light cured composite placed in horizontal increments. As a class II restorative material silver amalgam exhibited greater fracture resistance than bulk composite resin placed in horizontal increments.

The circuit allows almost a rail-to-rail input and output operation and it provides high driving capabilities. The CFOA is operating at supply voltages of ± 0.75V.The circuit exhibits better than 100 MHz bandwidth and ± 1mA current drive capability. The CMOS CFOA is simulated in Pspice using 0.35μm and 0.25μm TSMC technology. The circuit exhibits better performance particularly greater bandwidth and low power consumption with improved dynamic range after resizing the aspect ratios using 0.35μm to 0.25μm CMOS technology. The simulation results are promising and the resized structure is suitable for analog/mixed-mode VLSI design.
