Vector control of permanent magnet synchronous motor drive based on power transform for PMSM mode... more Vector control of permanent magnet synchronous motor drive based on power transform for PMSM model is discussed in this work. Controlling the torque and speed vectors can be used to get precision motor drive efficiency results. The method that has been proposed is based on the class of decomposers the material is divided into different components, one is associated with the pair and the other is associated with its line. Furthermore, it discusses the results of using the vector controlled PMSM. To create the basic design of the precision PMSM, a thorough examination of the current technique was conducted. The Park, Clarke, and their inverse transformations were utilized to perform the three-phase to dq transformation which was then analyzed and used to describe the PMSM drive. The findings of the simulation were validated the suggested motor drive model and control technique.

Renewable energy often provides energy in four important areas: electricity generation, air and water heating/cooling, transportation and rural (off- grid) energy services. With the development of power transmission in deregulated system, it becomes more and more important to control the power flow along the transmission line. The calculation of power transmission lines parameters of electric energy has a fundamental importance in the design, construction and simulation of electric power systems. This can be made in an experimental way by means of appropriate equipment for measurements of parameter on the line. This paper present theoretical and applicable circuit models for a transmission lines which focus on energy management and power-flow studies. This concentration power flow control, computation and the steady state behavior of electrical power transmission lines by implementation of FACTS devices on IEEE 3 BUS system in MATLAB/ SIMULINK package and PWS.

BLDC motor has many applications, hence there are various methods of their control, these various methods of speed control are explained below. General methods like PI, PID don’t have expected results for control of speed. Fuzzy control and neuro-fuzzy control system give far better output than these methods. In this paper we analyze the speed output with different method.

Research paper thumbnail of Mitigation of Voltage Deviation in Transmission Line Using Distributed Power Flow Controller

International Journal of Innovation and Scientific Research, Aug 2, 2014

In this paper, voltage sag and swell of the power quality issues are studied and distributed power flow controller (DPFC) is used to mitigate the voltage deviation and improve power quality. The DPFC is a new FACTS device, which its structure is similar to unified power flow controller (UPFC). In spite of UPFC, in DPFC the common dc-link between the shunt and series converters is eliminated and three-phase series converter is divided to several single-phase series distributed converters through the line. The case study contains a DPFC sited in a singlemachine infinite bus power system including two parallel transmission lines, which simulated in MATLAB/Simulink environment. The presented simulation results validate the DPFC ability to improve the power quality.

In high voltage (HV) electrical power systems; varieties of materials (solid, liquid and gaseous)... more In high voltage (HV) electrical power systems; varieties of materials (solid, liquid and gaseous) are used for insulation purpose to protect the early failure in High Voltage power equipment. Most of insulating materials are not perfect in all respect and contain some impurities. The presence of air bubble is one of such impurities in insulating materials which is highly undesirable. Insulation of the HV power equipment gradually degrades due to cumulative effect of electrical, chemical and thermal stress and aging. Due to the high voltage stress the weak zone inside the insulator causes the partial discharge (PD).This deteriorates the insulator. In this paper, an electrical circuit model of solid insulator with void is used to study the PD activity leading to breakdown inside the insulator. Among the models (namely capacitive model and induced charge concept model), the capacitive model is adopted in present work. The simulink capacitive model implemented, effectively demonstrates the partial discharge process. The model is used to study and demonstrate effect of permittivity of cavity/impurity and breakdown inception voltage level of the impurity. HV Laboratory experiments with `melinex' insulation paper and pre-breakdown currents are measured; as the insulation did not puncture up to 12 KV (Highest voltage in the present work). Breakdown voltage with `Garlam' insulation sheet with and without void (Sandwiched between `Garlam' sheet and low voltage electrode) showed the time dependency. This is to infer that, breakdown due to activity in the void resulted into early breakdown with higher applied voltages (above the PD inception voltage levels for the void).these experiments effectively demonstrates the effect of partial discharge due to void.
