: Stoicism in the military is deep rooted. The very strict rules and discipline of the military m... more : Stoicism in the military is deep rooted. The very strict rules and discipline of the military mold soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines into stubborn, bold figures who are ready to face any critical situation. One of the most important advantages of stoicism is this readiness to face critical situations; the greatest disadvantage of stoicism is the breakdown of morality. Stoics camouflage their emotions, and they gradually gain mastery over their natural passions and emotions. Hierarchical order contributes to stoicism as well. Unfortunately, stoicism has contributed to many soldiers' rough behavior toward war prisoners and lapses in humanitarian behavior in general. The author contends that the military should implement mandatory ethical training to prevent the potentially grave consequences caused by stoicism and the breakdown of morality.

These differences may occur in two different ways, namely either the organization performs better the same types of activities, or it chooses different types of activities. To establish whether between an organization and other competitors in the same industry there are differences in terms of relative prices and relative costs, it is recommended to make use of Porter's value chain, the more so as these differences are determined by the activities of the organization. Value chain plays an important role in the diagnosis of an organization's competitive advantage because through it we can get an insight into the mode of action of costs and the influences they have on the strategy that the organization has taken. Organisation of production processes, by means of multi service method refers to the performance ... more Organisation of production processes, by means of multi service method refers to the performance of attributions within a working system, using simultaneously or successively more inputs or more items in a single means of production, by one or more employees. In the specifically chosen case, in order to outline the advantages that shall be obtained after implementing the multi service method, we want to illustrate a situation where there are the execution conditions of certain identical operations, with the same duration and structure, in which case the running time of the performer and the means of production will be identical. Serving multiple machines finds application in all industrial branches and within them in several types of technological processes. For all these technological processes, the possibility of working at several machines and the technique of its organization depend on the preparation and general organization of production and its planning.

Magnetic fluids, often called "ferro-fluids" are a new category of synthetic materials ... more Magnetic fluids, often called "ferro-fluids" are a new category of synthetic materials that combine fluid properties with magnetic properties of solids. They are colloidal suspension of Ferromagnetic particles into a base liquid. Magnetic ultra-fine particles are integrated in a basic liquid by means of surface-active substances. This creates an elastic coating around each particle and, with thermal agitation, ensure the stability of suspension even in a highly non-uniform magnetic field. This type of sealing is used to seal gases in vacuum pumps of electronics industry or in radioactive gas sealing. They cannot be used for liquids sealing, but can be used if are combined with mechanical sealing.
