This article´s goal is to contribute to the understanding of these concepts from a situational approach. To do this, as a methodological framework, a triangulation is produced between the review of bibliographic sources, the field record of investigations and interventions that took place in different popular neighborhoods of a city in the province of Córdoba (Argentina) and the analysis from a relational perspective and contextual that seeks to make visible the heterogeneous intersections and dimensions of childhood experience, to dismantle hegemonic images of working and school childhoods. The main conclusions point out that violence against children is linked to conditions of structural inequality and intergenerational power relations and indicate that these processes are not fatal, since certain relationships and experiences of girls and boys mobilize practices of agency and resistance. Therefore, some questions and challenges are provided to re-signify childdren´s experiences in the current scenario.
