The internet is an instrument that is utilized as a fundamental part of daily life throughout the... more The internet is an instrument that is utilized as a fundamental part of daily life throughout the world. Undoubtedly, the internet is a revolution in information technology. However, internet addiction is becoming a problem among some users as the usage of the internet is growing rapidly each year. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the relationship between internet addiction and developing of anxiety, depression and social isolation. Based on the sample size, 61 respondents were used to participate in this study. Census technique was applied in the distribution of the questionnaire. The results shown that there is a positive relationship between internet addiction towards developing anxiety, depression and social isolation. However, new studies are required to document the efficacy treatment of for the subjected issue. Further discussion on the results are shared in this paper.

Customer satisfaction is defined as the customer's attitude towards the perceived service perform... more Customer satisfaction is defined as the customer's attitude towards the perceived service performance, which results from the differences in pre-existing expectations and the actual service performance. There are many factors that can lead to customer satisfaction, but instead of looking into all factors, it is interesting to look at cultural differences since the study focuses on the Malaysian setting, which is known for the multicultural environment. More interestingly, businesses in Malaysia not only involve local customers, but as well as customers from Asian and Western regions. The aims of this study are to determine the relationship between individualism and collectivism towards customer service satisfaction, specifically in the retail sector which involves multinational brands as well as multicultural customers. The use of Geert Hofstede Dimension theory in this study is because it is one of the most important theory in cultural differences studies and has generated a large body of research. A quantitative method has been used and the study has been conducted on 103 respondents, 51.5 % are from Asian origin and 48.5% are of Western origin. Although both individualism and collectivism have a significant impact on customer service satisfaction in the retail sector, it is proven in this study that collectivism has more to do in determining the satisfaction level as a whole. It is recommended that further studies should be done outside of Klang Valley. Furthermore, future research should seek to expand the pool of potential explanatory variables such as how cultural differences factor can help influence customer satisfaction.

Comparing with the other personal events, such as birthday and anniversaries, wedding is more complex, because it involves friends and families and a range of related service activities covering from catering to entertainments and selection of venue. As of today, there are very limited studies regarding the arrival of international tourists for wedding event purposes in Malaysia. Therefore, this study intends to identify the perception of international bridal tourists on Malaysia as their chosen wedding destination. It also aims to find out the most significant characteristics towards the arrival of international wedding bridal couples to have their wedding events in Malaysia. The escalator is inevitably a transportation method used by people around the world almost every ... more The escalator is inevitably a transportation method used by people around the world almost every day in their daily life and provides convenience. However, using the escalators does not guarantee one’s safety. Escalators seem safe enough, but they can be extremely dangerous when used inappropriately or when not maintained correctly. There are a number of incidents involving escalator lately. Escalator accidents can happen due to many reasons. It can be from human fault or from the escalator itself. Escalator accidents are something that cannot be treated lightly as it could involve the fatality. Preventive actions and measures need to be done. Therefore, this research was conducted using travelers to investigate the factors that can contribute to escalator accidents. In doing so, researchers distributed 150 questionnaires randomly within Kuala Lumpur area. The result indicates that most respondents agreed escalator accidents happened mainly due to human factors.

The study reviews literature on the definition, discussion and its revolution related to capital-raising, networking, investment, and crowdfunding among Event Entrepreneurs. The method used for this paper is based on literature reviews from journal articles, conference proceedings, newspaper, books and internet search related to this research area. The conceptual framework is recommended in the end of the paper as it allows reader to understand how the benefits will affects towards crowdfunding among Event Entrepreneurs. Hence, it will provide more research interest in crowdfunding in the future.
