Power is one way by which leaders and managers can penetrate through their followers' behaviors. ... more Power is one way by which leaders and managers can penetrate through their followers' behaviors. Using power resources, managers can provide the ground for growth or deviation of the organization. This depends on the nature of power and how managers make use of power resources. In this study, the relationship between power resources of managers and job satisfaction has been investigated. Methodology: This descriptive-analytic ،correlate study was conducted to with applied goals. The research population is the teachers of the city of Golbahar (700 people). Using random stratified sampling, 160 individuals were selected as samples. Data collection was done through two questionnaires: 1) power resources of managers; 2) job satisfaction. Pearson correlation and regression tests was used to analyze the data in two levels of descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: Finally, the results of the research showed that the coercive power, the authority and the power of expertise can predict job satisfaction. Conclusion: The existence of a positive and significant relationship between the source of authority power and the manager expertise with the job satisfaction shows that the manager should use his expertise and skills in power to increase employee satisfaction, which results in better performance and more employee participation.

In recent decades, with the rise of research in the field of psychology of religion, the conseque... more In recent decades, with the rise of research in the field of psychology of religion, the consequences of moral excellences have been increased. The aim of this study is to compare the effectiveness of teaching spirituality and resiliency with the efficacy of high school girl students in Sabzevar, Iran. Efficacy which was investigated in this study is one of the most effective components of happiness. 60 high school students were chosen randomly through Volunteer sampling and their accessibility, then divided randomly into the experimental and control groups. Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire, Oxford Happiness Questionnaire, and Connor-Davidson Resiliency Scale (CD-RISC) were used to gather required data. The results indicated that in comparison to the average efficiency of the students in control group and according to the average efficiency of the students in experimental group, teaching spirituality and resiliency increased the average efficiency of the students in the experimental groups. Therefore the hypothesis of this study was confirmed and based on the efficacy; there was a significant difference between the students in the experimental and control groups which means teaching spirituality has more effectiveness on the students' efficacy than teaching resiliency.

The main objective of this study was to explain and comment on dreaming as a belief-related pathology in religious beliefs sanity. By relying on the eternal power of God, the religious person is exposed to a kind of damage, which makes him to feel himself eligible for the enjoyment of some blessings, which he did not strive for. To obtain an accurte meaning of the concept, a network of semantic analysis and comparison of synonyms and antonyms were performed. It was considered that the meaning of words is not achieved only by referring to dictionaries. The results demonstrated that there are differences between the “dreaming” and "hope". Background & aim: Major depression disorder is one of the common mental disorders that the way of... more Background & aim: Major depression disorder is one of the common mental disorders that the way of cognitive emotional regulation influences in development or reducing symptoms of this disorder. Since cognitive emotional regulation plays an important role in coping with life problems, this disorder causes emotional disturbances such as major depression. The aim of this study was to compare the efficacy of cognitive behavior therapy and mindfulness-based therapy to improve cognitive emotion regulation in Major depressive disorder Methods: the present experimental study was conducted using a pretest-posttest approach with two groups. 30 participants with major depression disorder in Sfarayen counseling and higher education centers were randomly selected and divided in two groups of 15. Each group was under cognitive-behavior and based on mindfulness treatment during 8 sessions, each 90 minutes. They were analyzed using clinical diagnostic interview and cognitive emotional regulation questionnaire. Independent t-test was used for data analysis. Results: t-test results and comparison of differences between pretest and posttest scores indicated that mindfulness-based therapy in improving cognitive emotion regulation in patients with major depression was more effective than cognitive-behavioral therapy (t=-2/85, p=0/008). Conclusion: The cognitive behavioral and based on mindfulness treatment were effective in cognitive emotional regulation improvement, since treatment of based on mindfulness puts emphasis on current feelings and avoidance of self-judgment, and can also be more effective than cognitive behavioral method in using adaptive strategies of cognitive emotional regulation by patients with major depression

Methods: The sample group consisted of 100 randomly selected managers. Data gathering was carried out through spiritual quotient and human relationships" tests. Descriptive statistics and the Pearson"s Correlation Coefficient were used for data analysis. Findings: The results showed that there was a significant and positive relationship between spiritual quotient and its elements including communication, self-awareness, trust, and motivation, on the one hand, and human relationships of the participants on the other. In fact, the earned value management estimates the project future performance merely based on its past and does not consider the environmental circumstances change or other elements which effect on the future performance of the project. Unlike the earned value management, the risk management technique looks to the farther horizons and deals with the evaluation of the project performance by recognizing the opportunities and threats. In this paper we intend to present the risk ratio in combination with the earned value management current indices for better forecasting of the projects' future performance using the risk management technique. These ratios and indices are determined under real-life and uncertain conditions using the fuzzy approach.

Determining behavioral patterns of employees and the pertinent factors in employees' occupati... more Determining behavioral patterns of employees and the pertinent factors in employees' occupational attitude help us notably to determine the extent to which an organizational can be successful. The present study is a survey of the relationship between quality of professional life and organizational trust among employees of Bojnord City Municipality (2013). The study was conducted as a descriptive-correlative work. Study population was comprised of all employees of Bojnord Municipality (permanent and contractual employees in 2013; n = 170). Based on Morgan and Krejecie's table and random sampling, 120 employees were selected as sample group. The results showed significant and positive relationship between the elements of quality of professional life (adequate bonus, healthy and safe work condition, opportunity to develop talents, rule of law, growth opportunity, social solidarity, and social relationship of professional life) and organizational trust.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relation between personality type D, depression, anx... more The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relation between personality type D, depression, anxiety and stress in addict and non-addict individuals in Sabzevar, Iran. This is a descriptive and correlation study. The participants of the study were addicted and non-addicted individuals and sample size was 220 people who 100 people were addicted and 120 other were non-addicted who were chosen randomly. Personality type D and depression, anxiety, stress (DASS -21) were used for collection data. Data analysis was performed by using Pearson correlation and stepwise regression. Results revealed that there is a significant and positive difference between addicted and non-addicted individuals' scores in personality type D, depression, anxiety and stress. Considering the high prevalence of personality disorders in addicts, it seems that psychiatric interventions in medical treatment centers of drug abuse, along with medicine therapy is absolutely necessary.

Occupational burnout actually is a mental burnout concomitant with mental pressures or work stressors. The problem appears among employees of social works such as consultant, teachers, social advisors, physicians, police, nurses and the like. The present study is aimed at surveying the relationship between job security and hardiness on one hand and burnout among teachers. Study population was comprised of teachers in Mashhad, Dist. 1. Sample group (n = 350) was selected through cluster sampling. To collect the data, job security, hardiness, and burnout questionnaire were used. The results showed that there was significant relationship between job security and burnout and between hardiness and burnout .

The aim of the present study is to survey effectiveness of Narrative therapy on consistency rate ... more The aim of the present study is to survey effectiveness of Narrative therapy on consistency rate of mentally retarded children. Based on pilot project framework, 20 first-grade students (10 boys and 10 girls) with mental deficiency constituted the experiment and control groups. Study population included 36 individuals. The research design was pretest posttest with control group. To measure consistency rate, children adjustment inventory was used. The participants of the experiment groups received 18 sessions (15-30min) narrative therapy within 6 weeks. Data analyses were carried out using covariance analyses. The results showed that narrative therapy improves adjustment of the subjects. It can be concluded, then, that narrative therapy reduces symptoms of inconsistency among mentally retarded children. Thus, narrative therapy can be used as an efficient technique to treat inconsistency among mentally retarded children.

The aim of this study was to compare the efficacy of cognitive behavior therapy and mindfulness-based therapy to improve cognitive emotion regulation in Major depressive disorder Methods: the present experimental study was conducted using a pretest-posttest approach with two groups. 30 participants with major depression disorder in Sfarayen counseling and higher education centers were randomly selected and divided in two groups of 15. Each group was under cognitive-behavior and based on mindfulness treatment during 8 sessions, each 90 minutes. They were analyzed using clinical diagnostic interview and cognitive emotional regulation questionnaire. Independent t-test was used for data analysis. Results: t-test results and comparison of differences between pretest and posttest scores indicated that mindfulness-based therapy in improving cognitive emotion regulation in patients with major depression was more effective than cognitive-behavioral therapy (t=-2/85, p=0/008). Conclusion: The cognitive behavioral and based on mindfulness treatment were effective in cognitive emotional regulation improvement, since treatment of based on mindfulness puts emphasis on current feelings and avoidance of self-judgment, and can also be more effective than cognitive behavioral method in using adaptive strategies of cognitive emotional regulation by patients with major depression

Unlike the earned value management, the risk management technique looks to the farther horizons and deals with the evaluation of the project performance by recognizing the opportunities and threats. In this paper we intend to present the risk ratio in combination with the earned value management current indices for better forecasting of the projects' future performance using the risk management technique. These ratios and indices are determined under real-life and uncertain conditions using the fuzzy approach.

The present study is a survey of the relationship between quality of professional life and organizational trust among employees of Bojnord City Municipality (2013). The study was conducted as a descriptive-correlative work. Study population was comprised of all employees of Bojnord Municipality (permanent and contractual employees in 2013; n = 170). Based on Morgan and Krejecie's table and random sampling, 120 employees were selected as sample group. The results showed significant and positive relationship between the elements of quality of professional life (adequate bonus, healthy and safe work condition, opportunity to develop talents, rule of law, growth opportunity, social solidarity, and social relationship of professional life) and organizational trust.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relation between personality type D, depression, anx... more The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relation between personality type D, depression, anxiety and stress in addict and non-addict individuals in Sabzevar, Iran. This is a descriptive and correlation study. The participants of the study were addicted and non-addicted individuals and sample size was 220 people who 100 people were addicted and 120 other were non-addicted who were chosen randomly. Personality type D and depression, anxiety, stress (DASS -21) were used for collection data. Data analysis was performed by using Pearson correlation and stepwise regression. Results revealed that there is a significant and positive difference between addicted and non-addicted individuals' scores in personality type D, depression, anxiety and stress. Considering the high prevalence of personality disorders in addicts, it seems that psychiatric interventions in medical treatment centers of drug abuse, along with medicine therapy is absolutely necessary.

Based on pilot project framework, 20 first-grade students (10 boys and 10 girls) with mental deficiency constituted the experiment and control groups. Study population included 36 individuals. The research design was pretest posttest with control group. To measure consistency rate, children adjustment inventory was used. The participants of the experiment groups received 18 sessions (15-30min) narrative therapy within 6 weeks. Data analyses were carried out using covariance analyses. The results showed that narrative therapy improves adjustment of the subjects. It can be concluded, then, that narrative therapy reduces symptoms of inconsistency among mentally retarded children. Thus, narrative therapy can be used as an efficient technique to treat inconsistency among mentally retarded children.
