Resumo With the emergence of the concept of IoT - the Internet of Things, it has become virtually... more Resumo With the emergence of the concept of IoT - the Internet of Things, it has become virtually impossible not to contextualize it in programming classes of electronic devices, such as processors and microcontrollers today. Thus, this work shows the analysis of a teaching methodology aimed at including in one of these courses an introduction to IoT, not excluding traditional hardware clarifications, such as the use of old microcontrollers such as 8051 (INTEL) and/or PIC (Microchip), thus not impairing, initial objectives proposed. The ARDUINO Platform, a powerful and free development tool, was used to support the implementation of this proposal. This system allows a hardware abstraction through modules called Shields for industrial applications and can run communication algorithms in real-time, allowing to embark as a product some of the concepts of IoT. Neste trabalho sao abordados o estudo e desenvolvimento do prototipo de oximetria de pulso nao-in... more Neste trabalho sao abordados o estudo e desenvolvimento do prototipo de oximetria de pulso nao-invasivo para medida percentual da saturacao de oxigenio na corrente sanguinea. O projeto envolve a etapa de captacao do sinal atraves de diodos emissores de luz, que se baseia nas diferentes absorcoes das radiacoes vermelha e infravermelha pelo sangue e e captado pelo fotodiodo. O tratamento do sinal e feito com amplificadores e com filtros passa-baixa. Apos o tratamento, inicia-se a fase de processamento do sinal atraves do microcontrolador responsavel por converter o sinal de analogico para digital e que realiza o equacionamento dos sinais apresentando a taxa de saturacao de oxigenio no sangue. O resultado do processamento do sinal e apresentado em percentual atraves de visor grafico. O sistema possui ainda interface de comunicacao Bluetooth , permitindo o monitoramento remoto.
