The comparability between subjective sound evaluation data obtained from different sample sets can be enhanced by selecting the standard sound sample as reference sample in subjective sound evaluation, thus facilitating the horizontal comparison between different evaluation results. However, the applicability of the standard sound sample method is poor in the experiments on evaluating some types of noise because the mechanisms of annoyance caused by different types of noise are discrepant. Therefore, the standard sound sample method for white noise that takes the existing pure tone as standard sample is proposed. Taking the evaluation results of the common anchored scoring method as benchmark, the experimental study of the performances of the standard sound sample method and the anchored scoring method was carried out according to the evaluation of the annoyance degrees of the two types of sim...

The combustion-supporting effect of steam to coke breeze in sintering has the potential to improv... more The combustion-supporting effect of steam to coke breeze in sintering has the potential to improve sinter quality and reduce pollutants emissions. The results show that increasing the by-product steam injection concentration(0.32-0.47vol%) and prolonging the injection time(5min) within a proper range(10-15min) can improve sinter quality. 2.13kgce/t−sinter of the fuel consumption was decreased by reducing coke breeze usage from 5.60–5.45% under the recommended parameters, with 15.16% decrease of CO in sintering waste gas. By comparing experimental data with thermodynamic calculations, although the reaction between CO and steam can reduce CO emission and generate H2, steam tends to react with coke breeze to generate H2 and CO(react at 674℃), and OH radical produced by H2 which can reduce the activation energy of CO oxidation reaction is the key to reducing pollutant emissions. This investigation mainly focused on revealing the relationship between surface ignition and sintering performance, and elucidated the deep mechanism. Results indicate that the quality of sinter in the surface layer can be effectively improved by adjusting the ignition parameters. The preferred ignition parameters include ignition temperature of 1050 • C, ignition duration of 1 min and heat preservation of 1−2 min. The function mechanism of improved sinter quality is attributed to the increased high temperature duration for minerals melting, the enlarged melting zone, and the decreased cooling velocity. These changes facilitate the formation of enough adhesive phase of calcium ferrite, more of which generated in acicular morphology with high mechanical strength. Optimizing the ignition process reduced the solid fuel consumption due to the improved sintering performance, which then decreased the emission of NO and SO 2. The research findings are of great significance for providing a guide for the design of desirable ignition system and making further contributions to energy conservation and emission reduction during sintering.

This investigation mainly focused on researching the influences of H2-rich gas injection parameters over sintering bed on sintering performance, and elucidated the potential function mechanism through both experiment and numerical simulation. Results indicated that increasing injection concentration and prolonging injection time within a proper range improved sinter quality, and the recommended value was 0.6∼0.8 % and 8 min, respectively. Injecting H2-rich gas at earlier sintering stages achieved greater improvement in sintering quality compared with the ones injecting at later sintering stages, and the recommended injection area was 5∼13min. Both experiment and numerical simulation results indicated that injecting H2-rich improved the thermal patterns of sintering bed, with extended high-temperature areas for increasing the generation of high-strength calcium ferrite. Especially when injecting H2-rich gas under the recommended parameters, the heat distribution in sintering bed was optimized and the sintering quality of upper sintering layer was obviously improved. Finally, an injection method for guiding the industrial application with its essence to inject H2-rich at earlier sintering stages was proposed. The research findings provide a promising way for the efficient utilization of clean energy in iron ore sintering plants.

The effective removal of ruthenium by amidoxime-modified zeolite X in simulated wastewater was investigated. The raw and modified zeolite X were characterized systematically using the BET method, the SEM, the FTIR, the XRD and the XPS to understand the physicochemical changes of the materials, and its sensitivity to Ru 3+ adsorption. Batch adsorption experiments were carried out to investigate the effects of adsorbent dose, contact time, solution pH, different initial Ru 3+ concentrations, temperature and the effect of competitive ions on Ru 3+ adsorption. The modified zeolite X exhibited fast removal performance reaching equilibrium within 30min at the pH of 3, and the maximum adsorption capacity was found to be 175.4 mg/g. The XRD patterns demonstrated that the modified adsorbent still has the characteristic peak of zeolite NaX, and from the SEM ,it can be seen that the modified adsorbent shown the same regular octahedral crystal structure as the zeolite X. In addition, the characterization result of FTIR and XPS indicated the amidoxime group was successfully loaded onto zeolite X. Kinetic parameters were fitted by the pseudo-second order model(R 2 =0.9999), and the adsorption process by the modified zeolite X was chemical adsorption. The adsorption isotherms data of modified zeolite X were wellfitted to the Langmuir (R 2 =0.9834).In the competitive ions effect, the modified zeolite X effectively captured the Ru 3+ ion in the presence of Na + and K +. Therefore, the

Abstract We theoretically investigate the high-order harmonic generation (HHG) of H 2 + molecule ... more Abstract We theoretically investigate the high-order harmonic generation (HHG) of H 2 + molecule in the counter-rotating two-color circularly polarized laser pulse by numerically solving the two-dimensional (2D) time-dependent Schrodinger equation (TDSE). The results show that the even harmonics are suppressed with the fundamental laser wavelength 800 nm for the ratio of the second laser frequency and the fundamental laser frequency 3 or 5. In order to investigate the contributions of the HHG from two nuclei, the HHG is separated into two parts, which is originated from nucleus 1 and nucleus 2. The underlying physical mechanism of enhancing and suppressing high-order harmonic generation is illustrated by the interference effect of the HHG spectra originating from two nuclei. Meanwhile, the difference of the HHG spectra is investigated with the fundamental laser wavelength 1600 nm and 2400 nm.
