A self-administered survey was conducted on 162 general managers of hotels in Jordan. The data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modelling. The findings of the study indicated that service quality mediated the relationship between the CRM performance dimensions (key customer focus, CRM knowledge management, CRM organization, and CRM-based technology) and the marketing performance of Jordanian hotels. This study provides significant contributions to theory and practice. From a theoretical perspective, this study fills in the literature gaps by providing insights about the mediating role of service quality in the relationship between customer relationship management performance dimensions and marketing performance. For manager...

This study advances a new concept by theorising “willingness to reduce food choices in favour of sustainable alternatives”. The concept emerged from an assessment of consumer behaviour, ethical attributes, health attributes, and the roles played by both government and food producers in relation to naturalness. It is theorised that WTRFCIFOSA would lead to the consumption of natural and organic food. At present, consumers themselves have no desire to switch to organic consumption. Moreover, ethical and health attributes, government, and food producers have no significant impact on convincing consumers to opt ...

Design/methodology/approach Based on 174 responses gathered through a street survey method from 5 different universities in Turkey, data are analyzed using the statistical package for social sciences software (SPSS 16.0). Principal component analysis is performed to assess the differentiation in factors. Multiple regression analysis is used to examine the effects of the items on the post-millennials purchasing and recommendation behavior. Findings The main findings revealed that the environmental concern trait of post-millennials triggers their green purchasing behavior. When the concern on green products is high, the awareness of perceiving that “if the product is actually green or pretending to be green” is high. When the post-millennials take the greenwashing perception into account, their environmental concern has lower effects on...

Therefore, the current research investigates the relationship between inclusive leadership, as a form of relational leadership, and employees' voice behavior directly and indirectly via psychological empowerment. Using the data collected from 252 employees and their respective supervisors working in cargo companies across the United Kingdom, this study finds a positive relationship between inclusive leadership and voice behavior. The results further confirm the mediating role of psychological empowerment in the relationship between inclusive leadership and voice behavior. We use causal attribution theory to support the findings and discuss implications for research and practice.

We collected data from 291 subordinates and 51 supervisors to test our theoretical model. Our results suggest that openness to experience was positively related to innovative work behavior. Furthermore, this relationship was only significant when ethical leadership was perceived high as compared to low. Our research contributes to the literatures on innovative work behavior and ethical leadership.

This study seeks to foster and enhance more sustainable behaviour in households, workplaces, schools, and higher educational institutions; previous research has placed increasing attention on the identification of factors of pro-environmental behaviour. Accordingly, this study aims to examine the elements influencing the pro-environmental behaviour of employees in the workplace. A survey was performed from January to February 2020 on 150 public employees of an organisation in Terengganu. Out of 150 employees, only 84 participated and had their responses collected by using convenience sampling. The result of this study found that green lifestyles have a significant positive effect on pro-environmental behaviour. However, the impacts of environmental commitment, environmental consciousness, gr...

Whilst the existing literature is focused on individual cases of personal strain and resources, occupational therapists' role, social support and organisational commitment of employees, this thesis extends the current knowledge with comparative analysis in the context of gender, faculty and economy. The mixed method used is based on the combination of SEM, Chi-Square and multiple regression informed by the total of 408 survey responses, followed by a qualitative study of 98 interviews. The results confirmed that overall organisational factors cause higher stress while psychological effects are common in the education sectors of both economies. Overall stress, and organisational commitment, is higher in Pakistan despite higher power distance and collectivism. Overall, personal factors cause more stress to females and non-teaching staff, while organisational factors often make males and teaching staff stressed. Furthermore, the physical and behavioural effects are higher amongst males and non-teaching staff, while females and teaching staff have higher psychological symptoms. Nevertheless, the causes and consequences of stress, and job-related preferences differ for gender, faculty, and economy. The statistical tests confirmed non-significant impact of occupational therapists on the affective commitment (AC), normative commitment (NC), and continuance commitment (CC). All other predictors, to some extent, have a significant effect on OC. Furthermore, males exhibit higher AC, while females often report NC and CC. Social support and stress management programmes are effective in sustaining human capital and reducing strain. The qualitative findings supported the statistical outcomes. Based on above results, practical implications are recommended to public universities for reducing stress and improving organisational commitment to sustain human capital.

By combiningstrata, purposive and convenience sampling techniques, we gathered data from 220 employees working in software houses in both economies by means of a cross-sectional research design. The measurement model confirmed the reliability and validity of the distinctive variables while Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) andcorrelation were deployed to assess the relationship between the research variables. The findings of the study confirmed that an authentic leadership style is effective in managingoccupational stress, specifically organisational and personal stressors of employees working on time-bound projects. Additionally, authentic leadership is effective in developingpsychological capital. The research framework is effective for improving employees’ work efficiency through stress red...

Methodology - The survey questionnaire is circulated through networking, connections, referral and purposive sampling. The data is collected from 613 SMEs (over 200 in all three countries). Smart partial least square structural equation modeling (SmartPLS-SEM) is employed for the quantitative data analysis. Findings - Results confirmed that irrespective of the type of economies, strategic supply chain management has a statistically significant positive mediating role in improving the social and environmentally sustainable performances. Interestingly, the findings showed that factors of strategic supply chain management have higher positive impact in Canada than Iran and Turkey. Original value - The study offers a practical contribution by offerin...

'Socio-Anthropological Paradigm' undertaken for exploring research variables. Epistemology under Post-positivism philosophy is used. Moreover, considering mixed method, 4 points Likert scale survey questionnaire and open ended interviews are used as research instruments for data collection. The survey sample size contains 37 female entrepreneurs and interviews with 30 male employees working under feminine leadership and style of management through quota, stratified, and convenience sampling in Pakistan's five urban regions. The results confirmed positive relationship between feminine leadership and management style and various societal attributes. Furthermore, male varying performances...

The potential impact of stressors on the organisational commitment of employees are examined through self-constructed ‘stress model’. Through snowball and purposive sampling techniques, total 419 respondents (205 from Karachi and 214 from London) were targeted to attain quantitative perspective through on-line matrix based semi-structured survey questionnaire. Results showed that there is significant difference in causes of stress among contrasting gender. Moreover, male workers experience higher stress than females at operational level. Further, London workforce experience lower stress than Karachi workforce due to social support programme at workplace. There is significant variation in causes of stress as findings showed personal factors are leading stressors for females while organisational and environmental factors causes stress fo...
