This paper analysis the phase shift between output volatge and current in the grid connectd tranf... more This paper analysis the phase shift between output volatge and current in the grid connectd tranformerless inverter due to existece of the filter inductanc. For the elimination of the common-mode leakage current in thetransformerless photovoltaic grid-connected system, an improved single-phase inverter is desined by adding two addional switches and filter inductance due to which phase shift occurs at the grid. For eliminating common mode leackege current in the transformerless inverter by two strategy one is unipolar sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) control strategy and another Bipolar sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) control strategy.By applying both this method with diffent inductance value we analysis the optimize value so that we willgenerate a sine wave with fewer harmonics,low phase between grid voltage and grid current,less cost and a simpler design.

The sun provides plant the food by photosynthesis. Thus the sun is a renewable energy sources of all the life on earth, The photovoltaic energy generated by sun solar cell to absorb the sunlight which it transmitted as electric charge in the circuit .The solar panel transfers the energy from the sun by trapping the photon. and ejecting an electron from semiconductor to produce energy .semiconductor has an energy gap between valence electron and conduction Tio2 is a wide band gap semiconductor. very wide and the energy from sunlight can not release electrons easily but if the exited electron are received from the blackberry juice then juice becomes slightly positive (oxidised),Thus in demand of an electron to become neutral. If electrode coated with graphite come in contact with blackberry juice and Tio2 and iodine electrolyte which acts like a boat bringing electrons. This is the basic similar process which is observed and is known as photosynthesis in plants. The solar cell was fabricated on glass plate and tested for generation of voltage successfully in the sun.
This paper projects the different levels of cascaded H-bridge inverters and the minimization of t... more This paper projects the different levels of cascaded H-bridge inverters and the minimization of total harmonic distortion by increasing the levels. For triggering of the semiconductor devices used in the inverter level shifting pulse width modulation technique is used. Individually for each level inverter we have developed the switching circuit and also the inverter. The analysis of three level and five level cascaded H-bridge inverters is done in MATLAB/SIMULINK by applying level shifting PWM technique. The simulation results shows the improvement of output voltage waveform and reduction of the total harmonic distortion by increasing the levels in inverter.

Geomagnetic induced currents are generated on the power system by solar storms and solar flare, w... more Geomagnetic induced currents are generated on the power system by solar storms and solar flare, which causes damages to power transformer. GIC (DC) current when enter the power grid through the neutral point of transformer causes saturation of the transformer and the transformer gets damaged hence a novel hardware model was fabricated and the effects were analyzed. A software simulation was done using MATLAB and the effects on power transformer were observed to be increase in reactive power consumption and fluctuating harmonics in neutral current and the excitations current. Were analyzed which has got significance in the practical field to give warnings before the occurrence of the damage to the transformer and the subsequent interruption of power supply.

A Power Factor Correction (PFC) and sensor less speed control of BLDC (Brushless DC) motor using ... more A Power Factor Correction (PFC) and sensor less speed control of BLDC (Brushless DC) motor using zeta converter is presented. Zeta converter is a fourth order DC-DC converter made up of two inductors and two capacitors and capable of operating in either step up or stepdown mode. The PFC is achieved by zeta converter. Sensor less speed control of BLDC motor is achieved and the cost and wiring of sensors are reduced. A MATLAB/ Simulink environment is used to simulate the developed model to achieve a wide range of speed control with high PF (Power Factor) and improved PQ (Power Quality) at the supply.

Cascade H-Bridge Multilevel Inverters are very popular and have many applications in electric uti... more Cascade H-Bridge Multilevel Inverters are very popular and have many applications in electric utilities and for industrial drives. When these inverters are used for industrial drives directly, the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) in the output voltage of inverters is very significant as the performance of drive depends very much on the quality of vo applied to drive. A Multilevel Inverter in high power ratings improves the performance of the system by reducing Harmonics. This paper presents the simulation of single phase nine level and eleven level inverters. Detailed analysis of these inverters carried out and compared with different loads. PWM control strategy is applied to the switches at appropriate conducting angles with suitable delays. These different level inverters are realized by cascade H-Bridge in MATLAB/SIMULINK. The inverte with a large number of steps can generate high quality voltage waveforms. The THD depends on the switching angles for different units of Multilevel Inverters.

Solar storms produce coronal mass ejection due to which Earth's magnetic field changes and because of it Geomagnetic induced current enters the power network and cause changes in real and reactive power due to which voltage fluctuates and frequency of system changes. Utilization of reactive power consumption is estimated by GIC and reactive power absorption by the core. Methods are used to determine the frequency and magnitude of the harmonic currents generated by a saturated transformer due to GIC. Geomagnetic Induced Currents are to threat to power transformers and power system. Effect of GIC is calculated by injecting DC currents into a three phase power transformer. A DC source is placed between the secondary neutral terminal and the neutral point of the load. Simulation of GIC can be done with simpower system to transient stability of power system under a geomagnetic disturbance (GMD).

These demands are for professional need or remote area electrification. Due to limited availability of conventional energy sources i.e. fossil fuels and use of this adverse effect environment. For the use and generation of electric power it is necessary to use Renewable Energy sources (RES). Hybrid renewable energy system (HRES) with conventional energy sources is the ideal system for rural electrification and to provide reliable for of energy to consumer. This paper discussed the HRES for rural electrification & advantages of RES over the Conventional energy sources also control of power flow fed to the load.

The fly back topology is basically operated in Discontinuous conduction mode. The main aim of this study to develop the inverter with low cost which will help in order to achieve the higher efficiency. This reduction of cost is achieved by using flyback inverter topology. The controller performance and inverter design checked by using the simulation result for given particular specification. With help of experi mental result it is possible to achieve the efficiency at 86% at full load and power factor which is very close to the unity.</strong> <strong>https://www.ijiert.org/paper-details?paper_id=141224</strong>
