In order to evaluate the germination behavior of sesame seeds affected by magnetic fields, an experiment was conducted as a completely randomized design with 22 treatments (non-exposure to magnetic fields (control) and 21 magneto priming treatments) with three replications at the college of agriculture, the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2014. the seed of sesame put into a plastic bag bulky and was treated with different intensity of magnetic fields (25, 50, 75 and 100 mT) for several times (10, 20, 30, 60 and 120 minutes). For assessment of germination traits of sesame under constant magnetic field conditions, magnetic tapes with three mT strength were used in each Petri dish throughout the experiment. Results showed that magnetic fields had no significant effects on final germination percentage and mean germina...

The main income in rural regions in Khorasan Razavi province in Iran is from agricultural products especially saffron. In this study the effect of climatological parameters on saffron yield was studied. Seven parameters (mean temperature, minimum temperature, maximum temperature, daily temperature difference, relative humidity, rainfall and sunlight) during 20 years in five cities including Torbat Heydarieh, Gonabad, Neyshaboor, Sabzevar and Ghoochan were used. The yield of saffron also in Jihad-e Keshavarzi Organization was measured. Results indicated that saffron growth stages are severely affected by climatic parameters especially temperature and sunlight during the growth season. Also relative humidity and rainfall affected saffron growth in dormant stage (July-August) of saffron.

As a practical work based on the real-word data, a case study was carried out to investigate effects of three concentrations (0, 50 and 100 ppm) nanoSiO2 on seedling growth and dry matter weight of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graceum L.). All presented data in this study are fuzzy and therefore we need an extended version of analysis of variance to investigate on these fuzzy observations. Although, the presented analysis of variance approach based on vague data can causes to a fuzzy decision, but as an advantage of the proposed approach the vagueness of this fuzzy decision measured.

The experimental treatments included magnetopriming at intensities of 0, 30, 60, and 90 mili Tesla (mT), and the second factor included nanopriming at different concentrations of TiO2 nanoparticles, including 0, 10, 50, and 100 ppm. The results showed that sowing cannabis seeds by the combined use of magnetic fields and TiO2 nanoparticles had a significant effect on most of the studied traits. The effect of magnetic field levels showed that the highest dry weight of radicle, hypocotyl and seedling, the highest percentage of germination, germination rate, germination index and germination vigor index were related to the magnetic field at the intensity of 90 mT (5.3, 7, 6.8, 54.6, 110.9, 55.4, and 31.5% increase compared to the control, respectively). Nanotechnology is gaining tremendous impetus in the present century due to its capability of modulating metals into the nanosize scale, which drastically changes the chemical, physical and optical properties of metals. This study reports the optimal conditions for bene cial extraction of Aractium lappal and Eryngium billardieri and biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles through reduction of Ag + ions by secondary metabolite of plant extrcts. The puri ed nanoparticles was further characterized by UV-vis spectra, dynamic light scattering (DLS), energy dispersive X-Ray Analysis (EDX), X Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM). Results showed that, the puri ed solution yielded the maximum absorbance peak at 426 nm and the DLS characterization showed a uniform distribution of nanoparticles, with an average size of 47 nm. In addition, antibacterial results show that these compounds, have good potential of antibacterial activity against Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria. Finally, the cytotoxicity effect of silver nanoparticles on viability of MCF7 and MCR-5 cell lines was assessed by cytotoxicity 2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. The results show that toxicity of the optained nanoparticles on cells is very low (IC 50, MCF-7 > 1 mg/ml and IC 50 , MCR−5 > 5 mg/ml) and follows a concentration dependent manner. Furthermore, the antioxidant and anti-diabetic effect of Aractium lappal methanolic extract were also investigated. The inhibition of pancreatic αft-amylase using this extract seems to be a good way to treat diabetes. Our ndings indicate that these extracts are worthy of further consideration as plant drug to develop a new class of inhibitors against bacteria, some cancerous cell lines and also due to considerable antidiabetic effects and nanoparticles biosynthesis potential.

The plants initially received five applications of NaCl (0, 30 and 50 mM), or CaCl2 (15 and 25 mM) via irrigation, and then they were cultivated under different water deficit regimes (80, 50 and 20% available water content). The water deficit induced smaller and denser stomata. It promoted a water use efficiency, a proline content and antioxidant enzyme activity. However, it downgraded the aesthetic value (plant stature, flower size and vegetation greenness), magnified the stem bending probability and strongly decreased the floral longevity. It additionally impeded the growth by reductions in the leaf area and photosynthesis. Plants undergoing a water deficit maintained a lower hydration and expressed oxidative damage symptoms, including enhanced chlorophyll and membrane degradation. As the water deficit intensified, these effects were more pronoun...
