The role of human resources in the field of health, especially in service provision, is a strateg... more The role of human resources in the field of health, especially in service provision, is a strategic component of health development aimed at accelerating the equalization of healthcare services and the achievement of health development goals. In order to make the community health center (Puskesmas) the best, there is a need for good human resources. If the human resources are good, then their work productivity will increase. Factors that can influence work productivity include leadership. Leadership is the process of influencing in determining organizational goals, motivating employee behavior to achieve goals, and influencing to improve groups and their cultures. Aside from leadership, other factor that can affect work productivity is competence and the work environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of leadership, competence, and the work environment on employee work productivity at the Saparua Community Health Center in Central Maluku Regency. The method used is a mixed methods with a sequential explanatory design, using a saturated sample of 30 subjects. Research instruments include questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Quantitative data analysis involves simple and multiple linear regression, while qualitative analysis using the Miles and Huberman method. The results of this study show that the leadership variable has a significant and positive effect on work productivity, the competence variable has a significant and positive effect on work productivity, the work environment variable has a positive effect on the work productivity, and the leadership, competence, and work environment variables together have a significant effect on work productivity with a strong level of correlation.

Angka penderita malaria klinis tahun 2008 di Provinsi Maluku mencapai 7,36 % sedangkan target dari Departemen Kesehatan diharapkan 4,78 %. Penyakit malaria di Provinsi Maluku semakin tinggi karena faktor lingkungan, kepedulian masyarakat yang sangat kurang, anggaran untuk pemberantasan malaria sangat minim dan kurangnya tenaga kesehatan di daerah terpencil Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku penduduk terhadap tingginya prevalensi penyakit malaria di Desa Mesa Kabupaten Maluku Tengah. Metode Penelitian ini bersifat observasional analitik dengan rancangan Cross Sectional Study atau potong lintang dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument penelitian serta dilakukan pada 119 responden diambil secara whole sample. Analisis data univariat dalam bentuk penyajian tabel distribusi sedangkan analisis bivariat dengan menggunakan Chi-Square Test dan Fisher Exact Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap responden tergolong baik sedangkan tingkat perilaku masih tergolong kurang baik. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian yaitu tidak ada pengaruh pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap tingginya prevalensi penyakit malaria sedangkan ada pengaruh perilaku terhadap tingginya prevalensi penyakit malaria di Desa Mesa Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Rumdai Kecamatan TNS Kabupaten Maluku Tengah
