The use of peer tutoring learning method contribute to improving the skills of students to play t... more The use of peer tutoring learning method contribute to improving the skills of students to play the flute ornament of six hole, because the paradigm that underlies the development of such methods is the students more understand quickly taught by his friend, compared by the teacher. The results of classroom action research (PTK) showed that learning with peer tutors are proven to improve students skills in six holes to play flute ornament, either from a seated position, the position of the tongue and lip position, displacement fingers, breathing techniques and the creation of sound variations and can create student centered learning. Therefore, in learning the art of music teachers should always create a situation that is centered on student centered, using a variety of learning methods, learning implemented in a different place settings, using a variety of media, as well as more emphasis on practical rather than theoretical.
