Se... more Kawasan Sub-Urban merupakan penyumbang kepadatan di Jakarta, salah satunya adalah Kota Bekasi. Sebanyak 53% penduduk Kota Bekasi, komuter di Jakarta yang didominasi oleh pengguna kendaraan pribadi. Koridor Jakarta - Bekasi saat ini dilayani oleh moda jalan raya dan kereta api. Moda jalan raya meliputi beberapa pilihan yaitu sepeda motor, mobil pribadi, angkutan umum, Angkutan Perbatasan Terpadu Busway (APTB). Moda kereta dilayani oleh Kereta / KRL. Dalam waktu dekat LRT yang melayani koridor Jakarta-Bekasi akan beroperasi, dipilih LRT tersebut karena dinilai lebih mudah diintegrasikan dengan moda transportasi lain, seperti MRT dan KRL. LRT lintas layanan Jakarta-Bekasi memiliki panjang 18,5 km dan melewati 6 lokasi stasiun. Stasiun tersebut berlokasi di Cawang, Jatibening Baru, Cikunir1, Cikunir2, Bekasi Barat dan Bekasi Timur. The transportation production cost (TPC) considerably has strong influence to the national econom... more The transportation production cost (TPC) considerably has strong influence to the national economic condition. This paper focused on the analysis of the transportation production cost sensitivity in relation to the variation of the external affecting factor, which are fuel price, rupiah exchange rate and Bank of Indonesia interest rate. Based on the R 2 values, the TPC components in general have significant correlation, with the fuel prices. However, they do not have high correlation to the fluctuation of interest rate and rupiah exchange rate. The sensitivity analysis shows that a 10% rise on fuel price would cause 6%, 2%, 7%, 2.4%, and 4.9% rise on the TPC of intercity bus, ferry ship, interisland ship, train, and airline, respectively. Intensive expansions of the toll road network, however, had never covered the rapid growth of tra... more Intensive expansions of the toll road network, however, had never covered the rapid growth of traffic demands on the network. Traffic congestion was and remains a regular occurrence, and the traffic accidents are in the upward trend. The situation becomes worse since unavailability of information along the Jakarta intra urban toll road then choosing the toll road is no longer become solution to avoid traffic congestion. Traffic accident in the toll road automatically generates traffic congestion since there is very limited traffic management system. Traffic Information System (TIS) and Electronic Toll Collection System (ETC) as part of the toll road control and management system are significantly required in Jabotabek toll road. The paper report the review result which consist of conceptual framework formulation in design the requirement of TIS and ETC system for Jabotabek toll road network, including investment feasibility which is required for further development in the future.

From the subject, numerous studies discussed recycling waste into building components, for instance, wall panels, mixed concrete material, concrete bricks, etc. Nevertheless, it brought another environmental issue due to the use of cement as the major ingredient. The cement production process is releasing carbon emissions that have a negative impact on the environment. The recycled materials that used as concrete components also, from its basic form, have a negative impact on the environment. Disposable diapers and plastic PET are non-degradable materials that are hard to demolish. The paradox has created pros and cons, especially in environmental impact-based research. For the railroad-highway grade crossings, there are well known some types of traffic control. The... more For the railroad-highway grade crossings, there are well known some types of traffic control. The traffic control for railroad-highway grade crossings includes all signs, signals, markings, and other warning devices. It also includes their supports along highways approaching and at railroad-highway grade crossings. The function of this traffic control is to permit safe and efficient operation of both rail and highway traffic at railroad-highway grade crossings (MUTCD 2000). The paper reports the review on the regulation required on the separated railroad-highway crossings. The review is based on the result of delay analysis at several railroad-highway crossings with different specification (road and railroad geometric, traffic and location). The result of delay analysis become the main input for benefit and cost analysis that is end up with the decision of intersection handling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tarif jalan tol kendaraan golongan I pada ruas jalan to... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tarif jalan tol kendaraan golongan I pada ruas jalan tol Trans Jawa. Pendekatan studi kasus digunakan untuk mengetahui nilai Ability to Pay (ATP) dan Willingness to Pay (WTP). Metode pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan cara penyebaran kuesioner dan wawancara yang dilaksanakan di rest area ruas jalan tol Trans Jawa. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan teknik stated preference. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai ATP lebih besar dari nilai WTP. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hasil analisis tarif tol Kanci-Semarang adalah Rp. 876,76 per km.

The project financial appraisal is carried out as a usual financial appraisal by comparing the do nothing and do-something condition. Now, railway become national industry, therefore the benefit appraisal on railway investment should include the social benefit aspect widely as the impact of the railway operation compared to other modes. Actually, a government could expect to consider the external social benefit from railway investment and operation for community. This paper reports the result of the evaluation of feasibility analysis on Indonesia railways investment and the development of the future feasibility study procedure for Indonesia railway. Some examples from several cases in Sumatera and Java using classical method, also reported.
The concept of capacity adopted in is "Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual" principally ... more The concept of capacity adopted in is "Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual" principally still based on traffic operation and technical principle of highway. This concept is seemingly not relevant to be applied for collector or local roads such as in resident area, office area, business centre and other local business area. This paper reports the perception of respondents on environmental impact in representative collector and local roads, in Bandung. Generally, the result show that from 14 environment selected parameters, noise and air pollution have the top rank that perceived as annoyance by the respondent from all area of the study. The level of noise perceived as annoyance ranging from 69.4 dBA to 77.5 dBA during the daytime. This report is part of the preliminary reviewed for environment concept application in the roadway capacity. The comparison the traffic characteristic data (volume, composition and speed) also reported.
