The nurse's physical workload can include lifting and moving patients who cannot move indepen... more The nurse's physical workload can include lifting and moving patients who cannot move independently, performing medical procedures that require physical endurance, and working long hours without adequate rest periods. The study aimed to determine the physical and mental workload of health workers with the application of patient safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. The design of this study is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach; the number of samples is 36 respondents. The research variable was an independent variable (mental and physical workload) with a dependent variable (patient safety application). The study's results related the relationship of physical workload with the application of patient safety with a value of p = 0.409 and the relationship of mental workload with the application of patient safety with p = 0.069. It can be concluded that there is no relationship between physical workload and the application of patient safety in the inpatient room...

BACKGROUND: People mostly have the perception that tuberculosis is an unexpected disease to occur... more BACKGROUND: People mostly have the perception that tuberculosis is an unexpected disease to occur because it greatly hinders family development. The existence of this disease tends to break social interaction. This perception will affect the attitudes and behavior of those who will prevent this disease from occurring in their families and environment. AIM: This study aimed to determine the correlation between family attitudes and behavior with efforts to prevent infectious tuberculosis disease in the work area of Lembang Public Health, Majene, West Sulawesi. METHODS: This quantitative research was conducted through a cross-sectional approach. Based on total sampling, as many as 31 respondents who were part of families with tuberculosis were involved as samples. RESULTS: The bivariate analysis with the Chi-square test showed that the correlation between attitudes and TB prevention had a p = 0.301 (⍺ = 0.05). Maka bisa disimpulkan bahwa pengabdian masyarakat yang akan dilakukan ini sangat memberikan kontribusi yang baik. Target yang akan dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian masyarakat adalah sebanyak 200 target. Hal ini perlu menjadi hal yang diperhatikan terutama pada masyarakat yang berada di Kabupaten Majene Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Latar belakang; Perawat sebagai tenaga kesehatan yang professional mempunyai kesempatan yang pali... more Latar belakang; Perawat sebagai tenaga kesehatan yang professional mempunyai kesempatan yang paling besar untuk memberikan pelayanan kesehatan khususnya pelayanan/asuhan keperawatan yang komprehensif dengan membantu klien memenuhi kebutuhan dasar yang holistik. Metode; analitik deskriptif metode Cross Sectional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara Purposive Sampling. Analisis data yang akan digunakan univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji statistik dengan tingkat kemaknaan 0,05 dan dan diolah secara elektronik dengan menggunakan program SPSS 21. Hasil; uji statistik diperoleh nilai ρ = 0.034 < α = 0.05, terdapat hubungan penerapan aspek spiritualitas perawat dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan spiritualitas pasien. Kesimpulan; terdapat hubungan penerapan aspek spiritualitas perawat dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan spititualitas terhadap pasien yang dirawat inap. Perlu ada strategi dalam meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan khususnya dalam penerapan aspeks kebutuhan spiritual pasien.

This study aims to determine the factors associated with personal hygiene in young women at SMP Negeri 4 Majene. This study used an analytic survey design with a cross sectional study approach. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Majene, Majene Regency with a total sample of 47 young women. Sampling is done by total sampling method. This study aimed to know the relationship between adolescent knowledge about smoking with smoking behavior in adolescents. Type of research used in this study was descriptive correlational. The number of samples used by 45 respondents. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate gang analysis using the chi-quare test. Hal ini dikarenakan diet rendah garam penting dalam manajemen diri pasien hipertensi. Kurangnya pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan diet rendah garam pada pasien hipertensi merupakan hal yang penting bagi penderita hipertensi. Dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan pendidikan kesehatan mengenai diet rendah garam pada pasien hipertensi, maka tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat melakukan pengabmas ini. Pendidikan kesehatan pada diet rendah garam diperlukan untuk mempengaruhi perilaku diet rendah garam pada pasien yang menderita hipertensi. Metode yang digunakan adalah quantitative study dengan pendekatan pre-post test design. Analisis yang digunakan menggunakan uji t berpasangan. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian health education salt dietary terhadap pasien hipertensi di Kabupaten Majene dengan nilai p yaitu 0,000 yang dimana nilai p < α (α = 0,05). Saran bagi responden yang telah menerima health education untuk dapat menerapkan salt dietary dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
