The microspheres were sealed within the insoluble hard gelatin capsule body with an erodible hydrogel plug to create a time delayed capsule. Emulsion solvent evaporation was used to make the microspheres. Based on dissolving tests, optimised microsphere formulations were designed. The entire device was enteric coated in order to overcome the variability in gastric emptying time and achieve colon-specific delivery. The hydrogel plug (HPMC K100 and lactose in a 1:1 ratio) with a hardness of 4.5kg/cm2 and a weight of 100 mg was placed in the capsule opening and found to be effective in delaying release of the drug in small intestinal fluid, ejecting the plug into colonic fluid, and releasing the microspheres into colonic fluid after a 5-hour lag time. Three dissolving medium with pH 1.2, 7.4, and 6.8 were employed consecutively to imitate...

Unlike most of the other converters, the subject converter has the advantage of exhibiting minimum phase behavior in the boost mode. However, a major issue that arises in the classical control of the converter is the dead zone near the transition of the buck and boost mode. The reason for the dead zone is practically unrealizable duty cycles, which are close to zero or unity, of pulse width modulation (PWM) near the transition region. To overcome this issue, we propose to use DMPC. In DMPC, the switches are manipulated directly by the controller without the need of PWM. Thereby, avoiding the dead zone altogether. DMPC also offers several other advantages over classical techniques that include optimality and explicit current constraints. Simulations of the proposed DMPC technique on the converter show that the dead zone has been successfully avoided. Moreover, simulations show that the DMPC technique results in a significantly improved performance as compared to the classical control techniques in terms of response time, reference tracking, and overshoot.

Moreover, we developed the basic results of CFSs under the basic operations such as complex fuzzy simple difference, bounded sum, bounded difference, dot product, bounded product, union, intersection, and Cartesian product. We explored the CFSs and discussed the related properties with examples such as complex fuzzy bounded sum over the intersection, complex fuzzy dot product over the union, etc. Identifying the reference signals under the environment of CFSs have always been a challenging. Many algorithms based on set theoretic operations and distance measures have been proposed for identifying a reference signal using any common system. But linear time invariant (LTI) system is considered easy to analyze the linear and time-varying signals. We used CFSs in signals and systems. We developed an algorithm based on convolution product and LTI system under the complex fuzzy en...

Consequently, it performs a key function in the diagnosis of cardiac disorder and arrhythmia detection. Based on small variations in the ECG's amplitude, length, and morphology, Computer-assisted diagnosis has to turn out to be a recognized method to classifying the heartbeats of one-of-a-kind types of arrhythmia. Due to the nature of the ECG signal, a classification method was created based on the techniques of time-frequency decomposition. Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) was used to acquire various frequency components where Multiresolution Analysis (MRA) was implied. Based on these frequency components (MARs), the features vector was calculated using four statistical parameters. Average Power (AP), Dispersion Coefficient (CD), Sample Entropy (SE) and Singular Values (SV) were calculated from 9 RAMs as statistical parameters. SVM was then presented to use the features vector and discriminate ten distinct heartbeats of arrhythmia downloaded from the MIT-BIH database in the Physionet. Confusion matrix, Sensitivity (SEN), specificity (SPE), precision (PRE) was used and calculated to assess the efficiency of the suggested technique and compare it with the past algorithms. The performance of the suggested was discovered to be better than the current techniques, and the accuracy was 99.84

Pervious work demonstrates that, mutation in CDKN2A gene cause uncontrolled proliferation, genomic stability, oncogenesis, and metastasis. To evaluate the role of CDKN2A signalling network in Esophageal adenocarcinoma we utilized cluster profiler, STRING database and cbioportal. Hypergeometric test was applied within R platform for the detection of biological function of CDKN2A and its interactor's genes in the form of enrichmap including cnetplot and Dot plot. Possibility of four different oncogenic mutations (X153-splice/D153N) were observed on amino acid number 153 of CDKN2A genes among various samples. We reported that, TP53 is also highly mutated gene in Esophageal cancer, 87% cases associated with 180 TP53 mutations. In majority of cases, 15 R248Q/W mutations was observed at P53-DNA binding domain (95-288) of TP53. During network analysis, a solid association between CDKN2A and TP53 was observed while co-occurrence between CDKN2A and TP53 was detected in Esophageal adenocarcinoma during mutual exclusivity analysis (Log Odds Ratio= 1.521, p-value= 0.024, q-value=0.270). Our findings indicates that CDK6, MYC, CCND1, TP53 along with CDKN2A are very essential targets for multi-targeted therapy against Esophageal adenocarcinoma. Our research provide a new avenue to explore genomic features of CDKN2A and TP53 in Esophageal adenocarcinoma.

Therefore, here this problem is highlighted at the initial level by applying a multi-modality fusion scheme. First, multi-level edge-preserving filtering (MLEPF) is applied to decompose the source images into fine-structure (FS), coarse-structure (CS), and base (BS) layers. Then, the novel sum-modified Laplacian (NSML) and parameter Adaptive PCNN based fusion strategy is adopted for the fusion FS and CS layers. Where region energy (RE) and information entropy (IE) based fuzzy pixel rules are implemented for the fusion of BS layers. The final fused image is achieved by integrating all the three fused layers. Visual and quantitative analysis prove that the proposed scheme results are satisfactory compare to the state-of-art. The results were also evaluated by using the Google Inception V3 convolutional neural network (CNN).

This contains thick serpentinized mantle peridotite which consists of ultramafic tectonite and transition zone. Ultramafic tectonite comprises of largely harzburgite with subordinate dunite and lherzolite whereas transition zone is dominantly made up of dunite with subordinate harzburgite. Peridotite contains thick chromitite bodies. The chromitite of Khanozai Ophiolite is found as pods, lenses and layered shapes. These chromitites bodies occur in massive, disseminated and nodular forms. The chromitite for Khanozai Ophiolite is classified as high-Cr chromitite based on Cr# (aver. 0.72). Chromite grains in chromitite are largely uniform in composition but few grains show ferrit-chromite alteration along veins and grain margins. High Cr#, low TiO2 and chromite composition of high-Cr indicated that high-Cr chromite ore deposits in the mantle portion have been crystallized from parental melt of boninitic com...

First, if any of the source image is in RGB format, it is converted to YIQ color space. Then by taking full advantage of non-subsampled shearlet transform (NSST), both the input images (channel-Y and/or gray-scale) are decomposed into one low frequency subbands (LFS) and several high frequency subbands (HFS). Second, local spatial frequency (SF) and region energy (RE) based fuzzy pixel-rules are applied for the fusion of LFS. Where, the fused HFS coefficient is directly selected by computing and comparing novel sum-modified-Laplacian (NSML) of every HFS, to extract maximum and more useful information. Finally, the required fused image is achieved by inversed NSST and inversed YIQ transform. Experimental results obtained shows that the algorithm significantly achieved maximum feature information from the source images, enhance visual quality and contrast of the fused image, and decrease computational task compared to other state-of-art proposed methods.
