Research paper thumbnail of Rural Electrification Using Hybrid Solar and Biogas System in Phulwaria Village, Bihar: A Case Study

Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering, 2019

Consequently, the gap between the demand and supply for power is widening around the world. In the present scenario, power generation by renewable energy sources has gained significant importance. In India, approximately 70% of the people live in rural parts where power from grid supply is scanty. This paper investigates and proposes a viable option for supplying power to Phulwaria village in Bihar by adopting hybrid energy systems (HESs) of solar photovoltaic (SPV) and biogas to produce electricity. Here, combined heat and power (CHP) model is used for biogas where the wasted heat is used to heat water and supply clean drinking water.

There are many situations in which data about criminals should be shared with other police stations. When one police station requires any criminal information during their investigations, they need to call at that police station and get it, which is time consuming and require manpower. Also, citizens cannot get any information about criminals and the status of any crime investigation case. Our web based application provides an easy to use platform for the investigating departments concerned with the case in finding the prime suspect. It allows individual investigation teams in different locations to keep track and coordinate on cases. Also, it provides an easy to use interface for general public to submit evidences with respect to specific cases and check the status of any ongoing investigations. It extracts information from huge volume of data entered by the o...

Various characteristics of soil should be optimized with different factors. Expansive soil has property of swelling when moisture content increases and shrinking when water gets evaporated. Rice husk is a major agricultural waste that is easily available in in India and is generally burnt to get rice husk ash (RHA). This study has been aimed to get dual benefit, first to stabilize expansive soil by addition of RHA and second to effectively utilize RHA, the agricultural waste. It has been observed that at 12% RHA in presence of 5% cement can be effectively used to improve plasticity of soil and CBR value resulting in effective soil stabilization. Thus, the research demonstrates that agricultural waste has efficient use in soil stabilization.

The reversibility of this transformation, coupled with the need for a specific surfactant and solvent, indicates thermo-chemical origins of the phenomenon. Results indicate that surfactants play a critical role in the process. However, an explanation for this phenomena has not been reported yet. In this work, we derive and develop the chemical potential expressions that capture the roles played by surface-interactions, in driving this reversible transformation. Equations associated with both the dot (spherical) and rod (cylindrical) morphologies are reported. Using agent based modelling, and realistic parameters, we indeed observe a temperature induced morphology transformation that is consistent with experiment. The transition temperature is shown to vary slowly for a wide range of surfactant-surface chemistries and surface charges, which are parametrically captured. We indicate that such rod-to-dot transitions in colloids can be expected across other compositions as well.

This method will be useful to monitor the progress of students and also gives a clear examination of children level, and it also access the learning speed of the student, by a gentle touch basic practice of learning can be serve .That may also increase the discipline and grasping power of the children. It will also increase the interest towards the study. This project works on the embedded system that involves Mini2440 arm microprocessor and PIC16F73 microcontroller. So many languages can also be used; it is low power consumption device
