Query optimization in data integration systems over large scale network, faces the challenges of ... more Query optimization in data integration systems over large scale network, faces the challenges of dealing with autonomous, heterogeneous and distributed data sources, dynamic execution environment and changing user requirements. In this paper we introduce system architecture for query optimization. The latter consists of several important phases. We introduce also a cost model to calculate the cost of query execution. In order to optimize the cost of query processing considering the constraints in grid environment, an execution model based on mobile agents for efficient execution of binary relational operators (join) of the query is determined based on the cost model. Finally the paper tests our approach through experiment.

Many of these are submitted to timing constraints, and can be implemented as parallel tasks by taking advantage of a multi-core architecture. However a careless implementation can waste precious energy, especially when processing elements are powered by batteries. Thus, It is necessary to calibrate the operational frequency and voltage of the processors so that the consumed energy is reduced while still meeting the timing requirements. In this paper, we explore the design choices in implementing parallel real-time applications on multi-core systems. We propose a realistic parallel real-time task model, NLP formulation and some heuristics for allocating threads to processors and selecting in offline their operational frequency. The modelling was carried out using Boussinesq equations in two dimension modified by (Wei et al 1995). A simulation of the tsunami, caused by Zemmouri, Boumerdes2003 earthquake, is presented. For this we used the computing code developed In Cornel University (USA) namely COULWAVE.
