This study examines the factors and issues affecting the adoption of electronic insurance (EI) in... more This study examines the factors and issues affecting the adoption of electronic insurance (EI) in the Jordanian insurance sector. The methodology of the study is based on convenience sampling, thus, the sample consists of 175 respondents familiar with E-services, with different backgrounds, professions, businesses, income groups, sectors, and regions. Questionnaires were distributed and disseminated electronically using SurveyMonkey. The study employs both descriptive and ANOVA analyses to analyze the responses. The results show that EI promotes sustainability, reduces costs, saves time and holds some operational benefits beneath. The ANOVA results show that the impact of income and age on sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and operational benefits is significant at least at the 5% significance level. The purpose of the study is to present a digital marketing data analytics model to analyze campai... more The purpose of the study is to present a digital marketing data analytics model to analyze campaign efficacy and inform strategy based on website performance, social media metrics, email marketing performance, customer data for targeting and personalization, and customer journey analysis. This model defines campaign success criteria for strategy. A statistical analysis approach was used to analyze the data for the research. Data was gathered through a survey. This study analyzes demographic parameters descriptively using the structural equation model (SEM). From comprehensive surveys, 125 digital media and 115 online shop subjects responded. Sampled were 240 people. According to the findings, social media data, customer journey research, successful advertising, and informed approaches are highly correlated. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the entrepreneurship perception and entrepreneurship ... more The purpose of this paper is to investigate the entrepreneurship perception and entrepreneurship intention of Saudi university students and to find out whether they are ready for the market challenges and risk taking which are part of entrepreneurial activities. The population comprised of students of one of the private universities in Saudi Arabia, a questionnaire survey was adopted to collect the primary data from the respondents whom they were randomly selected, total of 292 questionnaires were received. The study findings indicate the satisfying level of students" intentions on entrepreneurship and their willingness to put their efforts in entrepreneurship activities. Furthermore, it is suggested that entrepreneurship education should centre on development of competencies related to entrepreneurship and cultural awareness. This study not only addressed the missing gap in current literature upon entrepreneurship, but provided implications for university educators.

The literature on Children Socialization and Information Processing Theory in consumer behavior suggests that most young children under 8 are not cognitively skilled about pricing and to use price in decision making. An interview has been conducted to gain the children insight about their money value and the source of money knowledge. In order to test for the effects of price, an experiment has been conducted to determine their preference. Various scholars have empirically investigated customer beliefs regarding satisfaction, loyalty a... more Various scholars have empirically investigated customer beliefs regarding satisfaction, loyalty and trust in the context of B2C e-commerce in several countries. However, the number of investigations into such important aspects of e-commerce in developing Arab countries, such as Jordan, is limited. Therefore, the main aim of this study is to explore the main factors that affect the degree to which consumers in Jordan are satisfied with, loyal to and trust B2C e-commerce. This research relies on previous and related literature to formulate a conceptual research model that proposes relationships between online trust, satisfaction and loyalty, and their determinants. To examine the proposed model, a self-administered paper-based survey questionnaire was issued to B2C e-commerce customers in a Jordanian private university. The findings suggest that customer loyalty to B2C e-commerce in Jordan is significantly influenced by online customer satisfaction, electronic word of mouth (eWOM) and online trust.

Trust is viewed as a crucial factor in social commerce due to the prominent role and significant ... more Trust is viewed as a crucial factor in social commerce due to the prominent role and significant amount of peer-generated contents. The current study aims to investigate the relationship between trust in social commerce and customers' purchase intentions by providing a mechanism to describe this relationship. Thus, a proposed model is developed based on three concepts: social presence, social commerce information seeking and familiarity with the platform. The model explains the mechanisms through which social commerce information seeking, familiarity, social presence and trust influence customers' intentions to purchase from social commerce platforms. For the purpose of this study, a survey is designed and distributed to Facebook users. The findings demonstrate that trust in a social networking site has positive influence on purchase intentions. Moreover, trust encourages information seeking, which in turn improves purchase intentions. Furthermore, both social presence and familiarity are found to enhance trust and purchase intentions. According to the findings, several managerial and theoretical implications are highlighted. Particularly, as the first study to investigate the adoption of social commerce among Jordanian customers, this study offers valuable insights and implications for Jordanian firms' managers and marketers who are targeting direct sales on social networking platforms.

Teaching profession was once viewed as a 'low stress occupation' and they have been envied for te... more Teaching profession was once viewed as a 'low stress occupation' and they have been envied for tenure, light workloads, flexibility and other perks such as foreign trips for study and conference. However, some recent studies suggest that university faculty is among the most stressed occupational group. The present study was conducted to explore the faculty perception towards occupational stress using established questionnaire, data collected from five departments in the private university. Research findings on the coping strategies that faculty used to tackle stress were also reviewed. Through this study, it is suggested that the top management and University Administration should focus their attention on faculty stress, especially on two areas (student Interactions and Professional Identity) to reduce the stress among the faculty members. Care should be taken to make even remote faculty feel a part of the greater whole of this institution thorough regular communication and support.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate entrepreneurship in Malaga University based... more Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate entrepreneurship in Malaga University based on the Theory of Planned Behaviour model. There are two objectives: to analyse the influence of the main elements of orientation to entrepreneurship and to evaluate the efficiency of education programmes in the university system. Design/methodology/approach – The authors have chosen Ajzen's influential model (1991) for analysing entrepreneurial intention as the basis for the analysis of a sample of 392 students at Malaga University. Findings – The results suggest that the students' predisposition to entrepreneurship is moderate because perceived risk and ideas about their own abilities hinder their decision to start up a business. Practical implications – This research has practical implications for universities involved in designing programmes aimed at business creation. Social implications – This research provides interesting insights which could help new companies to be created, thus alleviating the unemployment resulting from the economic crisis. Originality/value – With the help of this widely used theoretical model to study, the authors analyse the impact of Entrepreneurship Education Programmes in higher education. It is only a starting point from which to evaluate which elements should be reinforced in entrepreneurship programmes if they are to achieve effective results.

Organizational commitment is perceived as an attitude of association to the organization by an em... more Organizational commitment is perceived as an attitude of association to the organization by an employee, which leads to particular job-related behaviors such as work absenteeism, job satisfaction and turnover intensions. Turnover is the ratio of the number of workers that had to be replaced in a given time period to the average number of workers. Employee turnover is affected by job dissatisfaction, errors in employee selection, and poor management. As a performance indicator, turnover should be understood by management and leadership of the company. Turnover in the teaching profession can have important consequences for universities and students, including the financial and time costs of filling positions, disruption of curricular continuity, and difficulty in maintain a cohesive school environment. This study examines the impact assessment of personal factors on organizational commitment which leads to turnover intentions. The results indicated that the universities in KSA are not stipulating effective measure to retain their worthy and highly qualified resources. Some of the preventive actions include management training in order to capture warning of job dissatisfaction and periodic workplace evaluation of satisfaction, an open door policy style of management, and uphold strict hiring standards. In order to keep costs down, a streamline and efficient human resource program is suggested. Furthermore, organizations may gain more by attaching employees, increasing their investments, and enhancing their obligations to fulfill their goals.
The study presents an understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a strategic manag... more The study presents an understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a strategic management tool of real estate companies in Jordan. The major objectives of the enquiry are to examine the level of engagement of such companies with CSR, and to identify motivations, obligations and obstacles that influenced their level of engagement. An empirical examination of Jordanian real estate companies was attempted using a structured questionnaire through a survey instrument. The study used primary data collection from a random sample of 50 managers from two major cities, Amman and Irbid. The empirical results revealed that real estate companies in Jordan had actually adopted CSR only marginally because of government and regulations compulsions. Field analysis indicated that CSR portfolios of these companies were very limited. In the absence of such selfconviction, social responsibility engagement was often hurdled by obstacles like budgetary constraints, shortage of expertise, and awareness. These companies lacked realizing benefits of social responsibilities as a management tool for long-term strategic success. The study recommended companies to get more awareness, education, and training about benefits of corporate social responsibility such as promoting social dialogue, ensuring the safety and health at work, and fostering activities of social work and economic growth.

By using importance-performance analysis (IPA), this paper examines the perceptions of tourists a... more By using importance-performance analysis (IPA), this paper examines the perceptions of tourists as websites users, and experts of Internet applications, of various tourism services attribute in the Jordanian travel agencies' websites. IPA is a feasible approach to the assessment of clients' satisfaction which allows for an easy and practical understanding of both the strengths and weaknesses, and for developing areas of a given service. While, IPA Analysis as a practical methodology has been used to determine customers' perceptions and satisfaction in different fields and subjects, to the best of the author knowledge, this is the first time for this methodology has been used to compare the perceptions of tourists and experts of Internet technology in order to assess the effectiveness of travel agencies websites. The main findings determined differences between tourists' perceptions of importance and experts' evaluation of Performance about JTAs websites, majorly in categories of marketing, functionality, interaction and basic information. The study also demonstrates the effectiveness of IPA model as a strategic tool at the marketers' hand, to identify priorities for areas of development and improvement by select how to increase their capacity.

Teaching profession was once viewed as a 'low stress occupation' and they have been envied for te... more Teaching profession was once viewed as a 'low stress occupation' and they have been envied for tenure, light workloads, flexibility and other perks such as foreign trips for study and conference. However, some recent studies suggest that university faculty is among the most stressed occupational group. The present study was conducted to explore the faculty perception towards occupational stress using established questionnaire, data collected from five departments in the private university. Research findings on the coping strategies that faculty used to tackle stress were also reviewed. Through this study, it is suggested that the top management and University Administration should focus their attention on faculty stress, especially on two areas (student Interactions and Professional Identity) to reduce the stress among the faculty members. Care should be taken to make even remote faculty feel a part of the greater whole of this institution thorough regular communication and support.
