This thesis represents one of the possible ways of utilizing the concept of evaluating ecosystem ... more This thesis represents one of the possible ways of utilizing the concept of evaluating ecosystem services. It is about connecting this concept with landscape research from the perspective of physical geography. The CICES—Common International Classification of Ecosystem Services methodology from January 2013—has been used for this purpose. It is one of the most advanced methodological systems of evaluation in this field. The modification that the collective of authors has prepared expands this methodology into new areas. The modified methodology allows the expansion of the perception of the influence of the ecosystem’s services on the human population. Unitary humanity has been substituted by individual groups of people who live in the countryside. Another modification is the option of utilizing this methodology when evaluating the impact of planned constructions on the ecosystem services in the construction’s area. It also brings a geographical way of observing the landscape into the method of evaluating ecosystem services—spatiality. Thanks to the thus created method of research it was possible to research the cultural landscape in so far unresearched context, connections and details. The individual results are shown with the help of a table chart method of research which manages to capture information in the needed context. The land cadastre from the municipality of Hluboke in the basin of the river Svratky (Czech Republic), where the author’s research has been conducted, is used as an example for the presentation of this method.

On the example of the town of Boskovice (40 km NE of Brno, Moravia, Czechoslovakia) the authors e... more On the example of the town of Boskovice (40 km NE of Brno, Moravia, Czechoslovakia) the authors examined the pose of 290 respondents to the problems of environmental management of the town. 160 pupils of the basic school, 80 students of the secondary school and 50 adults were respondents. Result of the investigation has shown differencies in the poses of various social groups to the objects representing the environment of the town. In this article the authors describe in detail methods of their investigation and mention he outcomes (answers) in many tables.
Středozapadni Morava zahrnuje okrajova uzemi 4 krajů ( Vysociny, Pardubickeho, Olomouckeho a Jiho... more Středozapadni Morava zahrnuje okrajova uzemi 4 krajů ( Vysociny, Pardubickeho, Olomouckeho a Jihomoravskeho) s centry v Bystřici nad Pernstejnem, Svitavach, Moravske Třebove, Konici a Boskovicich. Tato okrajova uzemi maji specificke problemy se svým regionalnim rozvojem, který je zkouman týmem geografů. Zakladem výzkumu je tvorba sofistikovane databaze GIS. Ta obsahuje data významna pro studium možnosti a omezeni regionalniho rozvoje. Jde předevsim o udaje vztahujici se zejmena k demografickemu vývoji, infrastruktuře a životnimu prostředi . Kriticky jsou posuzovany programy regionalniho rozvoje, aktualni stav jejich plněni je vizualizovan v interaktivni mapě. Celý software je orientovan na participaci veřejneho a soukromeho sektoru v rozvoji regionů, poskytuje podporu pro rozhodovani, monitorovani a navrhy změn. Cilem těchto IT je efektivni pomoc veřejne spravě v podpoře regionalniho rozvoje, např. uplatňovani veřejných i soukromých investic.

Jednou z nosných linii je pohled na venkov z hlediska jeho funkci a vztahů mezi těmito funkcemi. Zdůrazňuje cinnosti, u nichž je potřebne a take realne rozvijet synergicke přistupy při realizaci rozvojových zaměrů ve venkovskem prostoru. Reflektuje při tom kompetence veřejne spravy i dalsich akterů a zachycuje existujici omezeni spoluprace, vcetně navrhů vybraných řeseni.

On the example of the Dyje-river gap in the southeastern part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highland, ... more On the example of the Dyje-river gap in the southeastern part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highland, southern Moravia characterized by an increased diversity, the authors try to solve the space orientation of the area in agreement with the ecological aspects. They divide natural space taxonomic units into further hierarchical units, analyse the area under study and present a proposition of a landscape synthesis which would satisfy all the requirements demanded by social activities as well as by the care of the living environment.
