This research is to reveal the strategy of developing character human resources, especially for s... more This research is to reveal the strategy of developing character human resources, especially for students at SMA Negeri 1 Paiton, with the research focus covering; 1) Strategy for improving human resources with character, 2) evaluating strategies for improving human resources with character, 3) developing strategies for improving human resources with character. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results showed (1) the process of improving human resources at SMA Negeri 1 Paiton was carried out through habituation activities in the field of religion. Which in its implementation uses a system of routines and regulations jointly from both students and teachers; (2) evaluation of the strategy for improving character human resources; (3) development of a strategy to improve character human resources through student activities such as scouting, tahfidz houses so as to produce graduates who have character human resources who are ready to compete in the community.
