Indonesian Ministry of Health data (2013) showed 89% of children aged <12 years had dental car... more Indonesian Ministry of Health data (2013) showed 89% of children aged <12 years had dental caries, this is one proof that public awareness is still lacking in maintaining the health of their teeth and mouth. Residents who stated that they had problems with their teeth and mouth in the last 12 months in Tabanan Regency were 25.7%. This figure is above the Bali provincial figure of 24.0%. One of the preventive measures for dental caries is to seal (seal) pits and deep fissures on the surface of the tooth. Based on the preliminary interview with the Head of Kukuh Elementary School 1, 3 and 4 in Marga Sub-district, Tabanan Regency, it is known that there are no UKS or UKGS elementary schools. Based on the description above, a problem statement can be formulated: how to prevent dental caries for students in Kukuh District 1, 3 and 4 SDN in Marga Sub-district, Tabanan Regency in 2018? The service method is carried out with practice or direct action on the teeth of students of SDN 1,3, and 4 Kukuh, Marga District, Tabanan Regency. Based on the results and discussion, it can be suggested as follows: sealant action is carried out even earlier, to avoid carious teeth; if similar activities are carried out again, the community service team prepares tools and materials for dental fillings. School-age children are one group that is vulnerable to caries. Some things that have a close relationship with dental caries, both directly and indirectly include: oral hygiene, habit of consuming cariogenic food, depth of dental fissure, degree of acidity (pH) of saliva, and regularity of brushing teeth. Ni Luh Putu Sita Indra Dewi's research concluded that 65.78% of SD Negeri 1 Dawan Kaler students in Klungkung Regency in 2017 usually eat sweets every day. The absorptive capacity of the craftsmen in Small Crafts Industry (SCI) to identify new value, an... more The absorptive capacity of the craftsmen in Small Crafts Industry (SCI) to identify new value, and then assimilate and apply it for commercial purposes and win the competition is very necessary to study. This is based on observation that the absorptive capacity of the SCI is relatively low, which leads to lower competitiveness. Around 21 (twenty one) SCI in Gianyar, Bali Province, change their business into other businesses due to being unable to compete in the crafts industry and their absorptive capacity to assimilate and apply new values and new technologies is considered low. This research aims to (1) develop the proposition concept of the influence of creative leadership towards absorptive capacity; (2) attest to the influence of the knowledge-sharing on the absorptive capacity; (3) attest to the influence of creative leadership towards knowledge sharing, and; (4) develop the concept of mediating role of knowledge sharing over the influence of creative leadership against absorptive capacity. The study was done in Gianyar Regency, with a sample of 90 Small Industry Craftsmen (SCI) in 7 (seven) subdistricts. The analysis tool used was the Partial Least Square (PLS). This research identified that the proposition which states that creative leadership influences absorptive capacity is proven positive and significant. Knowledge sharing gives a positive and significant effect on the absorptive capacity. Creative leadership significantly and positively affects knowledge sharing; furthermore, knowledge sharing has been found having partial mediating role over the influence of creative leadership on absorptive capacity.

One of the unique culture and loaded with religious meanings that need to be preserved is a tooth... more One of the unique culture and loaded with religious meanings that need to be preserved is a tooth filing ceremony. Cutting teeth (Mepandes) is a ritual that must be performed by someone who is Hindu. At this ceremony is no treatment that is cutting measures or leveling the four incisors and two canines left and right in the upper jaw, three times chiselled, honed and leveled. From those actions raised complaints and no access to the spread of disease as health professionals need to think about health measures to prevent the spread of the disease and reduce complaints after cutting teeth Based on such thought. Researchers are interested in examining efforts to improve the knowledge of oral health of the sangging at the time of tooth filing ceremony (Mepandes). The study design with pretest-posttest control group (pretest-posttest with control group Design) with a large sample used in this study were 15 people on each-each treatment and control group, were selected by simple random sampling, the results of the data analyzed using analysis of Man-Whitney. Based on such thought, researchers interested in examining efforts to improve oral health knowledge of the sangging at the time of tooth filing ceremony (Mepandes). Based on the comparison as there are no significant differences in knowledge between control and treatment groups (p> 0.05) before being given treatment. But after being given treatment/training, the treatment group had an average score higher than controls (p<0.01). The assessment results in the treatment group the mean score of 48 at the beginning of the study and increased to 74.6. Based on the results of their research needs education about oral health with a more comprehensive method with a combination of media outreach.

Dental Health Services in Indonesia is also done by non-certified independent dental workers who ... more Dental Health Services in Indonesia is also done by non-certified independent dental workers who is lack of coaching and supervision of the authorities, resulting in not optimal sterilization of tools that can lead to the emergence of other diseases/abnormalities, so that preventive infections in them is needed to get attention. The aim of research is to understand the effectiveness of giving seminars and practices on the efforts to prevent cross infection in non-certified independent dental workers by creative dental health workers with Transtheoretical model in City of Denpasarand Makassar, Indonesia. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with Nonrandomized Pre-test post-test model with a control group design. Large samples are all non-certified independent dental workers in the city of Denpasar and Makassar. The research data were analysed using descriptive tests which were performed by different test between groups using the Wilcoxon test. The creativity of dental health workers measurement was done by Man-Whitney test.Based on the analysis and discussion, it is concluded that giving treatment in form of seminar and handson are proven to increase knowledge of non-certified independent dental workersin Denpasar is higher than that in Makassar. Behaviour changes in infection protection efforts is undertaken by knowledge. The efforts made by highly creative dental nurses in Denpasar, proved successful in changing the behaviour of non-certified independent dental workers into a stage of change, rather than creative dental nurses in Makassar.

Cutting teeth (Mepandes) is a ritual that must be performed by someone who is Hindu. At this ceremony is no treatment that is cutting measures or leveling the four incisors and two canines left and right in the upper jaw, three times chiselled, honed and leveled. From those actions raised complaints and no access to the spread of disease as health professionals need to think about health measures to prevent the spread of the disease and reduce complaints after cutting teeth Based on such thought. Researchers are interested in examining efforts to improve the knowledge of oral health of the sangging at the time of tooth filing ceremony (Mepandes). The study design with pretest-posttest control group (pretest-posttest with control group Design) with a large sample used in this study were 15 people on each-each treatment and control group, were selected by simple random sampling, the results of the data analyzed using analysis of Man-Whitney. Based on such thought, researchers interested in examining efforts to improve oral health knowledge of the sangging at the time of tooth filing ceremony (Mepandes). Based on the comparison as there are no significant differences in knowledge between control and treatment groups (p> 0.05) before being given treatment. But after being given treatment/training, the treatment group had an average score higher than controls (p<0.01). The assessment results in the treatment group the mean score of 48 at the beginning of the study and increased to 74.6. Based on the results of their research needs education about oral health with a more comprehensive method with a combination of media outreach.

Dental Health Services in Indonesia is also done by non-certified independent dental workers who ... more Dental Health Services in Indonesia is also done by non-certified independent dental workers who is lack of coaching and supervision of the authorities, resulting in not optimal sterilization of tools that can lead to the emergence of other diseases/abnormalities, so that preventive infections in them is needed to get attention. The aim of research is to understand the effectiveness of giving seminars and practices on the efforts to prevent cross infection in non-certified independent dental workers by creative dental health workers with Transtheoretical model in City of Denpasarand Makassar, Indonesia. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with Nonrandomized Pre-test post-test model with a control group design. Large samples are all non-certified independent dental workers in the city of Denpasar and Makassar. The research data were analysed using descriptive tests which were performed by different test between groups using the Wilcoxon test. The creativity of dental health workers measurement was done by Man-Whitney test.Based on the analysis and discussion, it is concluded that giving treatment in form of seminar and handson are proven to increase knowledge of non-certified independent dental workersin Denpasar is higher than that in Makassar. Behaviour changes in infection protection efforts is undertaken by knowledge. The efforts made by highly creative dental nurses in Denpasar, proved successful in changing the behaviour of non-certified independent dental workers into a stage of change, rather than creative dental nurses in Makassar.
