To create effective mobile robot manipulators, a function-oriented element base is proposed. Elem... more To create effective mobile robot manipulators, a function-oriented element base is proposed. Element base selection is based on the analysis of schematics of mobile robot manipulators. It is substantiated that the effective schematics of manipulators are parallel link mechanisms. A rational structural scheme was adopted as a mechanism having six rods of variable length (hexapod). The schemes of mobile robot manipulators with different numbers and types of combined rod supports are considered. It is proved that the same type of element base in the form of spherical hinges can be used to implement a variety of schemes. Different embodiments of schematics of manipulators designed on the proposed function-oriented element base are considered. The basic requirements for the element base of mobile robot manipulators are defined. The work is devoted to experimental research of hydraulic damper throttle elements characteristic... more The work is devoted to experimental research of hydraulic damper throttle elements characteristics. The throttles that are formed by the functional gaps between the piston and the cylinder and piston and rod, the piston throttles and the bottom-throttles of the damper were investigated. The dependencies of flow coefficient from Reynolds numbers, which based on experimental data, for power fluids with different viscosities were calculated and represented for a temperature range 13.5 ... 60.1 ° C of the power liquid. Using these characteristics for design calculations could be more accurately determine the resistance force of the dampers. This recommendations allow reducing the temperature influence on the hydraulic damper's characteristics.

From the angle of the main postulate of thermodynamics - the conversion of thermal energy into mechanical work and vice versa, the energy balance in a poppet valve was considered. A diagram of the interaction of the system through the process of transfer, operation, and an analogy between a poppet hydraulic valve and an electric transistor is illustrated. It is shown that heat is one form of energy that can be converted into other forms. As a result of numerical and physical visualization, it has been established that when the fluid moves in a poppet valve, various physical transfer processes occur. For example, cavitation, in which there is a significant change in the energy balance and energy dissipation under non-stationary modes of fluid motion. The current miniature robotic technology is somewhat limited due to inherent problems of commonly used electronic solutions. But alternative pneumatic or hydraulic solutions usually are too costly to be considered. Resent developments in 3D printing technology may bring an end to that problem.
The work processes that occur in the chambers of a double-tube hydraulic shock absorber during it... more The work processes that occur in the chambers of a double-tube hydraulic shock absorber during its operation are considered, such as the flow of working fluid through the piston valve, which is caused by the pressure difference between the working chambers. When the working fluid was flowing in the valve-throttle tract, in throttle operation, where only calibrated holes are used, hydrodynamic cavitation was poorly developed, which corresponds to a piston speed of about 0,25 m/s. It should be noted that when operating in a valve mode of operation, when the liquid flows through the open valves, at critical and close to critical operating modes of the hydraulic shock absorber, developed hydrodynamic cavitation occurs.
