These changes are at the crossroads of development and conservation, requiring a new approach for understanding the quality of the heritage architecture of our cities. Only with this approach can the true character and appeal of our cities be unveiled in this changed environment.

The theme was ‘workshop on the scope of the material and technique - Stone, Wood, and Earth. Participants conducted field surveys on architectural cultural heritages that were monitored by NRICH, and discussed about safety management measures applied on these properties. Were also discussed structural health assessment, sustainable management and disaster mitigation.
