A high allostatic load, resulting from chronic hyperactivation of the stress system, contributes to several negative consequences for individual health status in the long term. The study showed that the stressful and problematic situations of managerial work are numerous and that they radically influence individual psychophysical well-being both in the professional context and in private life. Greater attention to the evaluative dimension of managers' discomfort is useful and functional, in order to promote improvement actions that concretely constitute an opportunity to reflect on the "managerial practices" adopted that can create workplace discomfort. This study has led to the need to promote good practices for the prevention of mental health and the activation of coping strategies and protection systems.

The survey has analyzed the relationship between digitods and touch media, paying attention to usage profiles, usage behaviors, interaction, app selection and fruition processes. It has also been observed the parent-child interaction...

The health emergency of recent months makes it necessary for us to reflect on resilience education, to cultivate more authentic educational relationships and to react to stressful and problematic situations with greater self-effectiveness. If rigid family systems risk of causing communicative and relational diseases, investing in emotional literacy and empathy means providing adults and children with the tools to deal with the painful situations, that are inevitably part of everyday life, to share negative experiences and bring out the inner resources. In this perspective, technologies play a significant role in the media, both because they are a bridge between the family context and the external social network, and because they potentially allow more inclusive and flexible learning-teaching proce...

Contents can be both top-down corporate-driven and bottom-up prosumers-driven (Jenkins, 2007). When analysing the changes that are taking place in mainstream and in grassroots media, what results is not an apocalyptic challenge among different media; rather, one takes note of how user participation is irreversibly modifying the concept of communication and creating new scenarios of knowledge. In light of this situation, by focusing on education as well as on teaching and learning processes and considering the learners as protagonists of the educational process itself, one can begin to trace their habits and customs in regards to media consumptions and all their favourite activities in order to predict a future orientation. The authors' goal was to research how the generation of students of Bachelor of Education – future trainers and teachers – is able to use IT in formal and informal environments; mor...

In this paper, the authors do not aim to investigate the contents of the player's thinking, but rather his/her way of thinking. In this scenario the teacher becomes a worlds' maker, who provides his/her students with the tools allowing them to partake in the co-building of multi-tiered worlds, which requires not only the ability to get access to intangible information but also a skillful management of media interfaces. In this way, the click of the mouse becomes the action par excellence that allows each individual to contribute synergistically to the realization of the digital habitats. The ultimate goal is to search, in the learning processes activated by the video games in both the authors and the lemming, those features that make the learner a self-knowledge builder.
