Eighteen male volleyball players (aged 21.50, standard deviation 3.12 years) underwent the experimental protocol organized in in two sessions, one of static and the other of dynamic stretching for upper body muscles. Participants performed three specific strength tests: Ball Throwing, Maximum Voluntary Isometric Contraction, and Push-Up, to assess explosive, isometric and endurance strength respectively, at baseline (T0) and 10, 20 and 60 minutes after the static stretching and dynamic stretching sessions. The Ball Throwing results showed significant differences between the two stretching protocols (F1,14 = 4.967; p = 0.043; ηp2 = 0.262), among the 5 time measures (F4,58 = 7.476; p < 0.001; ηp2 = 0.348), and for the interaction Protocol × Time (F4,5...

Heritage conservation is very important not only for our missing of past, but in order that our own cultural identity can be formed today. In China, different stakeholders hold various views on heritage protection and conflicts often take place. Particularly, many folk religion's cultural heritages face a dangerous scenario and could even be damaged or destroyed for a variety of "reason". This article tries to reexamine fundamental values and assessment criteria for cultural heritage conservation. The authenticity is a core concept involved with those of issues. Based on the views of culture place, the author puts forward the concept of "emic culture authenticity" as a hinge to explore authentic culture ecology of heritage and its model, to facilitate the cultural heritage conservation and reuse by the strategies of classification and adaptation.

Here the results of comparative analysis of the electrodynamic railgun with increased traction for the acceleration of the large mass bodies are shown. Design of accelerators with multi-blade rotor and coaxial accelerator are illustrated and discussed.

In particular during physical exercise the free salivary Cortisol concentration increases with the intensity of the exercise followed by an increase of the free Testosterone. On this basis, there is the possibility the determine if the program of preset physical exercise evokes an abnormal reaction of adaptation of the organism. Since physical exercise and athletic performance are strongly related to individual genetic traits, in this study we evaluated the possibility of customize the athletic training on the basis both of genetic and of levels of salivary markers involved in physical stress. Eighteen male gymnasts were genotyped for the following sport involved gene polymorphisms: Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE - I/D), α-actinin 3 (ACTN3 - RR/RX) and Vitamin D Receptor (VDR - BsmI, FokI, TaqI, ApaI). Salivary levels of Cortisol and free Testosterone were measured before and after a standard training session by saliva tests (Grifols, Italy). From our results emerged the possibility of planning the training session avoiding a stress related overtraining and, at the same time, adjusting the athletic training on the basis of individual genetic profile.
