Manual dexterity is the ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements and it requires both gross and fine hand motions and coordination. Children with CP usually have difficulties performing manual activities such as grasping, releasing or manipulating objects, which is crucial in the performance of many activities of daily life. Method: In this Study total 20 cerebral palsy patients both male and females were selected between the age group of 4-21 years. Bot-2 tests for manual dexterity were done and the total scores were calculated. The Minimal Detectable Change was calculated using a formula and Minimal Clinically Important Difference was calculated using Receiver Operating curve analysis. Results: The Minimal Detectable Change [MDC] was captured with a confidence level of 95% Minimal Clinically Important Difference [MCID] was calculated using Receiver Operating curve analysis and MDC value is 3.6755 and MCID value is 0.925. Conclusion: The study indicates excellent value for MCID in Bot-2 compared to PMAL in Manual Dexterity. The clinometric properties of MDC And MCID provided in this study allow clinicians and researchers to determine if a change score indicates a true or clinically meaningful effect at post treatment and at follow-up.

India has a long history of providing healthcare services to its people in the form of home remedies such as Ayurveda. For the development of rural areas of India, Indian committees had suggested three-tier health facilities namely community health care centers, primary health care centers, and sub-centers. The present study attempted to analyze the spatial and temporal availability of health facilities in all the blocks of the Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The study has been attempted by collecting data from various secondary sources. There is adequate availability of health care centers in the district but there is inequality in their distribution at the block level. The district lacks 9 CHCs, 54 PHCs, and 127 SCs for better health conditions in the entire district. The district needs to increase the availability of healthcare infrastructure as this can also reduce the overburden of patients on the available healthcare centers.

Renal vascular amyloidosis in itself is fatal with amyloid deposition occurs predominantly in renal arteries and arterioles. Renal vascular amyloidosis being an uncommon condition presents as diagnostic and therapeutic challenge for pathologists as well as clinicians. It presents with renal insufficiency without significant proteinuria, whereas glomerular amyloidosis presents with nephrotic range proteinuria. We present a case of renal vascular amyloidosis as a rare complication of long-term Psoriatic arthritis and Inflammatory bowel disease as well as presentation of amyloid deposition around arterioles of glomeruli instead of conventional nodular arrangement. This case highlights the importance of regular follow up and screening of patients with chronic autoimmune diseases on treatment to decrease renal morbidities and thereby reducing renal transplantation.

Hematologists, who specialize in diagnosing, treating, and preventing blood diseases, are also susceptible to this psychological syndrome. This literature review synthesizes the current research on the prevalence, causes, consequences, and potential interventions for burnout in hematologists. Studies have reported a significant prevalence of burnout among hematologists and oncologists, with factors such as workload, work-home conflict, lack of supervisory support, and insufficient recovery opportunities contributing to this issue. The consequences of burnout are far-reaching, impacting the quality of patient care, increasing medical errors, and leading to physician attrition. In extreme cases, burnout has been associated with an increased risk of suicide among physicians. Effective interventions for reducing burnout include organizational strategies, such as workflow redesign and communication skills training, as well as individual-focused approaches, such as mindfulness-based stress reduction and cognitive-behavioural training. The review emphasizes the need for further research and targeted interventions to address the unique challenges hematologists face in their practice to ensure their wellbeing and maintain the highest quality of patient care.

These devices do not require blood or other invasive methods to measure blood glucose. They are designed to give patients a safe and accurate way to monitor their blood glucose. Non-invasive blood glucose monitoring devices measure blood glucose using transdermal sensors placed on the skin. These sensors transmit data to the monitor, allowing the patient to monitor their glucose levels in real time. The accuracy of this method has been shown to be similar to that of analytical glucose testing methods. Infrared sensor and Arduino UNO are the components used in this device that provides natural solution for non-invasive glucose monitoring. An innovative way to accurately monitor blood glucose levels without any intervention is to connect the sensor to an Arduino. To determine if there is glucose in the blood, the system uses an infrared sensor. Then, this data is sent to the Arduino microcontroller for real-time processing and display. The system is designed to be easy to use and requires no user intervention. It also provides an affordable solution to the problem of blood glucose monitoring, making it a desirable option for both patients and health professionals. The device provides an effective and economical solution for monitoring blood glucose. In addition to storing and receiving data from a secure database, Arduino is used to process sensor signals. The system is designed to provide continuous monitoring of the user's blood glucose levels. This system can be used to alert the operator of any changes in blood glucose levels and to provide the patient with the information he or she needs to better manage his or her condition.

It is a disability that impairs movement and posture. The general term "cerebral palsy," sometimes known as "CP," refers to a loss or impairment of motor function brought on by brain injury. The brain injury or aberrant brain growth that takes place before, during, or right after a child's birth results in brain damage. Body movement, muscular control, coordination, tone, reflex, posture, and balance are all impacted by cerebral palsy. Only a portion of the brain is hurt, primarily the areas that regulate movement. Once injured, brain tissue does not regenerate or worsen. However, depending on how a doctor treats the child and how much brain damage there is, the motions, body positions, and associated issues may get better or worse. A brain injury that results in a permanent, non-progressive, and occasionally growing disturbance of tone, movement, or posture is known as cerebral palsy. With 2-3 newborns per 1000 live births affected, it is the most widespread chronic motor impairment in children. William John Little was the first to characterise it, stating that "cerebral palsy is a disease of motor control caused to a static lesion of the developing brain."

This study aimed to investigate the characteristics, detection, and management of DVT using Acoustic Radiation Frequency Impulse (ARFI) technology, considering factors like age, comorbidities, and thrombus stage. Materials and Methods: The study, conducted at Apollo Hospital Chennai, retrospectively analyzed data from 247 patients with DVT. High-end Sonodoppler ARFI was used. Inclusion criteria covered clinically suspected DVT cases and patients with a history of PE and elevated D-Dimer levels. Exclusion criteria applied to non-consenting or suboptimal imaging patients. Statistical analysis employed SPSS software. Results: Out of 247 patients, 124 controls had mean ARFI values of 0.96 m/sec for veins and 2.52 m/sec for muscles. DVT patients in the acute, subacute, and chronic stages showed distinct ARFI values. Age, gender, and comorbidities were associated with DVT. Thrombus characterization revealed differences in ARFI values. Moreover, the study revealed significant correlations between ARFI values and various clinical parameters. Vein and muscle ARFI values displayed progressive increments across thrombus stages, aiding in the differentiation between acute, subacute, and chronic DVT. Notably, a statistically significant correlation was observed between ARFI values and liver function tests, platelets, and Ddimer levels, further underscoring the diagnostic potential of ARFI in assessing DVT. Conclusion: ARFI technology is valuable in diagnosing and managing DVT. It aids in early detection and prognosis, especially in acute-on-chronic cases. However, larger sample sizes are needed to establish ARFI values for chronic DVT. This study highlights ARFI's potential in improving DVT management and outcomes.
