Further, with the usage of low voltage capacitors and the transformer, the capacitor voltage strain gets reduced. The advantage of projected topology over series inductance Z-source inverter is that two built-in capacitors block DC currents in transformer windings and prevents core saturation, which results in easy construction with effective cost and the efficiency is also improved. The area and complexity are the major issues in circuit design. As transistors decrease in size m... more The area and complexity are the major issues in circuit design. As transistors decrease in size more and more of them can be accommodated in a single die, thus increasing chip computational capabilities. However, transistors cannot get much smaller than their current size. The Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA) approach represents one of the possible solutions in overcoming this physical limit. Here a Ripple Carry Adder (RCA) module is proposed that can serve as a basic component for QCA arithmetic circuits. The main methodological design innovation over existing state of the art solutions was the adoption of so called minority gates in addition to the more traditional majority voters. The proposed adder is designed and simulated using QCA designer 2.0.2. Simulation results show that the proposed adder outperforms all state of-the art competitors and reduces area-delay efficiently than previous designs.

An adaptive method to perform dynamic voltage and frequency scheduling (DVFS) for minimizing the ... more An adaptive method to perform dynamic voltage and frequency scheduling (DVFS) for minimizing the energy consumption of microcontroller. Instead of using fixed update interval, the proposed DVFS system makes use of adaptive update intervals for optimal frequency and voltage scheduling. The system is interconnected with battery, the battery is connected to the ADC and it converts analytical electrical power to digital frequency. Then the microcontroller is internally connected to the oscillator and the oscillator maintains the operating frequency level in that controller. Thus the converted digital frequency is send to the microcontroller, the controller detects the battery power level. If the battery power value is low, the operating frequency level in the microcontroller can be reduced by an oscillator. The optimization enables the system to rapidly track the workload changes so as to meet soft real-time deadlines. The technique, which can be realized with very simple hardware, is completely transparent to the application.

As transistors size is decreased more and more of them can be placed in a single chip, thus increase computational capabilities of a chip. However, size of transistors cannot be reduced further than their current size. A new technology called Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA) represents one of the possible solvent in overcoming this physical limit. Here Ripple Carry Adder based on 5-input Majority Gate is proposed using Multilayer concept. It is observed that as the number to inputs to Majority Gate is increased, it automatically reduces cell count, area and latency in the circuit and thus simplifies the circuit design. The proposed adder is designed and simulated using QCA designer 2.0.2. Simulation results show that the proposed adder reduces the area-delay significantly than the adder designed using 3-input Majority Gate. The inherently parallel nature of these codes allows very high throughput to be achieved. In the existing method energy-efficient architectures for decoders of low-density parity check (LDPC) codes using the Modified differential decoding with binary message passing (MDD-BMP) algorithm is used. This algorithm offer significant intrinsic advantages in the energy domain: simple computations, low interconnect complexity, and very high throughput. Using the MDD-BMP algorithm, these decoders achieve respective areas of 0.28mm 2 , 1.38mm 2 and 15.37mm 2 , average throughputs of 37 Gbps, 75 Gbps, and 141Gbps, and energy efficiencies of 4.9 pJ/bit, 13.2 pJ/bit, and 37.9pJ/bit with a 1.0 V supply voltage in post-layout simulations. In this decoder, a bidirectional recursion is embedded to enhance the layered scheduling and decoding latency, which in turn is used to minimize the number of iterations compared to existing techniques. Consequently, it is necessary to increase the throughput for improving the efficiency of the system. In addition, a compression technique is implemented for reducing the requirements of memory and the area. Trellis based decoder was used to reinforce the check node processing. The proposed decoder for LDPC codes yields high throughput when compared to other similar decoders presented in preceding works. The designed architecture was implemented using Cadence Virtuoso software. This decoder provides a throughput of about 39.21 Mb/s at clock frequency of 190MHz.

Totally five videos are taken in training phase. The images are converted into frames. Neural Network is used to identify these actions from the videos. The main aim is to detect the White Matter Lesions present in MRI brain images which may result in memory loss or even death. This can be done by Fuzzy C-means Clustering (FCM) algorithm which is less sensitive to noise present at output and it detects false lesions also. To overcome this and to make detection more accurate Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm is used. PSO yields high sensitivity, specificity and overall accuracy over FCM.

In general it is difficult for medical experts accurately quantify the WMLs due to decreased contrast between White Matter (WM) and Grey Matter (GM) in MRI brain images. The main aim is to detect the White Matter Lesions present in MRI brain images which may result in memory loss or even death. This can be done by Fuzzy C-means Clustering (FCM) algorithm which is less sensitive to noise present at output and it detects false lesions also. To overcome this and to make detection more accurate Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm is used. PSO yields high sensitivity, specificity and overall accuracy over FCM.
