To address this need, the researcher draws on Human relation theory (HRT) and equity theory to examine the impacts of employee well-being (EW) and employee absorptive capacity (EAC) on innovative employee behaviour. The researchers examined the mediating variable of EAC in this study and the moderation effect of organisational justices and innovative leaders. Data were collected and analysed from 239 full-time academic members working within the HEIs in Jordan. The smart partial least square SmartPLS analysis outputs reveal that EW affects EAC, consequently affecting innovative employee behaviour. Surprisingly, innovative leadership behaviour plays a moderating role in the relationship between EAC and IB. Also, organisational justice affects EAC. These findings provide administrators in HEIs about enhancing innovative academic behavio...

Therefore, a necessary preventive action can be taken much earlier in order to avoid more severe outcome. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate and analyse some of the classifiers that have been used all over the world to predict the possibility of such crisis. Those classifiers that will be covered are Fuzzy Logic (FL), Neural Network (NN), Genetic Algorithm (GA), Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Support Vector Machine (SVM). The study analyses multiple published papers and researches that has been conducted within 1996-2012 period. The first criterion will be in accordance to the individual description, method and analysis of each classifier, followed by the gap analysis of the multiple in-scope classifiers studies that have been observed. Referring to the review that has been done, the fi...

As the observation from scholars, the Jordanian private universities seems to have an ambiguity in the strategic intention towards international accreditation also Jordanian HEIs were not aware of any suitable strategy formulation and implementation framework, which could be suitable for their peculiar environment. The objective of this study is to explore what factors may influence the strategic intention to go for international accreditation within the perspective of Jordanian private universities. The researcher hypothesis that uncertainty avoidance and accreditation cost has a significant relationship with strategic intention to go for international accreditation. A survey was conducted on population of 593 personals in 17 Jordanian Private Universities. Data were collected via questionnaire from University president, vise president, Dean, head of depart...

One of the major cost factors in machining processes as a main part of manufacturing industry is the tooling cost associated with the High speed machining process. However, high speed hard milling (HSHM) is new advanced machining processes in industry that merges three advanced machining processes: high speed milling, hard milling and dry milling. The aim of this research is to analyses statistically the effect of three main independent factors: cutting speed, feed rate and cutting speed on the tooling cost associated with machining process. To achieve the objective of the research, the experimental work with statistical tools was integrated. The face centered cubic design (FCC) has been used to conduct the experiments to minimize the flank wear rate up to total length of 0.3mm based on the ISO standard to maintain the finishing requirements.

Namely the organisational factors include job satisfaction, work exhaustion, occupational health and safety management and organisational culture. A sample of 250 participants was extracted from different Jordanian universities. The participants were limited to academics in Jordan who are working in any government Jordanian University. Statistical analysis was conducted by using SPSS 23. Previous literature was also used to design a structured questionnaire. A total of 250 questionnaires were given out and 250 questionnaires were collected back. The study then conducted correlation and regression analysis to determine the relationship between the independent and the dependent variables. The models for multiple regression offer support for the relationship between turnover intention and organizational factors. The re...

The information system role not only adds a valuable dimension to the human resource function, but also assists human resource department to be competent. This study investigates relationship between human resource information systems (HRIS) characteristic, appropriateness, and usefulness as independent variables and Employee strategic capability (ESC) as dependent variables. It attempts to examine the level of implementation of HRIS and ESC in private Jordanian companies in the service sector. The techniques were used to investigate the relations and impacts between variables are correlation and regression analysis. Moreover, researchers used descriptive analysis such; collinearity and normality analysis. The sample we choose is based on non-probability sample method, combining human resource managers, human resource directors, human resource professionals, and human resource staff in companies based in Jordan. Using a survey questionnaire was sent to the selected sample. Findings of the study reveal that there is significant relationship between HRIS and ESC. The study also found that the level of HRIS utilization in Jordanian companies is low due to the system characteristic and appropriateness, where employee seems not to be satisfied with the current HRIS or maybe there are lacks of understanding of the system. Moreover, the finding of study indicates that the level of strategic capability of employees in Jordanian companies is high. Also the more usefulness of the system more satisfied and comfort employee whom reflect in their abilities to improve in term of decision making, commitment, creativity, responsibility, satisfaction.

Descriptive Survey was its research method. The statistical population included 362 employees and faculty members of Pahang University. In the present research, 92 people have been investigated based on Cochran formula and employing simple random method. A scholar-made questionnaire on the basis of Kuan Yew Wong model’s (2005) was used to collect data. It also included 11components of knowledge management such as Culture, Information Technology, Aim Strategy, Measurement, Senior Management Support, Organizational Infrastructures, Activities and Processes, Motivational Aids, Resources, Education, Power of Human Resource, in addition to 4 other factors: information technology, Organizational Culture, Organizational Learning and Manpower. Based on the results of Binomial Test, the two factors: ” Senior Management Support ” and “ information technology ” are lower than average leve...

Accordingly, educational quality nowadays is affected by the Globalization environment. In a globalized environment, Higher Education Providers HEPs are anxiously looking forward to increase their educational quality to get better ranking worldwide. In addition, Students Mobility SM plays a bigger role in motivating the universities to apply for globalized accreditation agencies. Moreover, HEPs are not only emphasizing nowadays on capacity and profitability, but also on high reputation as well, where accreditation comes into picture within national context. This paper attempts to investigate three factors which can likely to be considered as the key determinants of Malaysian Private Universities’ Awareness MPUA towards globalized accreditation. These factors are: Global Accreditation Bodies Regulations GABR, Global Competition GC and Students’...

Thus, data were collected and analysed from 303 full-time employees working in the United Arab Emirates service sector. The data analysed by using smart partial least square and the results reveal that orientation towards technological innovation (OTTI) and innovation-oriented training and development (IOTD) significantly influenced innovative employee behaviours, which consequently affect new service development. Moreover, innovative behaviours found to have a mediation role in the relationship between orientation towards technological innovation and innovation-oriented training, development, and new service development. These findings provide implications for managers about how to enhance a new service development program through technology, training, and innovative ...

To achieve the goal of the research a sample combines 220 university presidents, quality assurance directors, deans, and academic staff was surveyed to investigate six different factors under faculty performance that covers the important and prioritized these factors for international accreditation. Finally, these results have been analyzed statically by using PLS and then simulation through Monte Carlo software. The results show a high correlation between academic performance factors and strategic intention.
