Digital marketing in social networks has attracted the attention of many entrepreneurs, especiall... more Digital marketing in social networks has attracted the attention of many entrepreneurs, especially those novice or inexperienced or responsible for small businesses, as they are more accessible, dynamic, comprehensive and low-cost means of communication. However, a problem that arises in this scenario is how, in practice, digital marketing has been developed by these entrepreneurs, often without training in the field, but eager for the visibility of less traditional media. The purpose of this article is to deepen the discussion about the impacts that marketing on social networks can cause in small companies, from the perspective of brand building, interactivity with their clients and profitability. The research is exploratory, with a qualitative approach, including inductive analysis, bibliographic review and two case studies carried out in small companies located in the cities of Guaruja and Guaratingueta (SP).
