In this study, we gave some important properties of g-subgroups, homomorphism of g-groups, andthe zero element. We also presented a couple of ways to construct g-groups and g-subgroups.

The researchers used a quantitative method particularly employing the descriptive-survey design. The respondents of this study were the teachers and student-teachers in the public and private HEIs of Southern Leyte. It was found that both teachers and student-teachers have little knowledge, low level of understanding and commitment to most of the global and globalization issues. This revelation strengthens the need to enhance teachers’ and student-teachers’ awareness on the possible effects of globalization.

A g-group is a nonempty set G together with a binary operation * satisfying: (g1) f * (g * h) = (f * g) * h for all f, g, h ∈ G; (g2) for each g ∈ G, there is e ∈ G such that g * e = e * g = g (we call e an identity); and (g3) for each g ∈ G, there exists h ∈ G such that g * h = h * g = e for some identity e described in (g2). In this paper, we present some important properties of the two algebraic structures (algebra).

Data obtained from various online sources were treated using path analysis. It was found that the predictors can influence happiness in four ways. The findings were a clear indication that globally, people relate happiness with access to goods and services. Political measures that can increase this access may therefore elevate happiness and well-being among people. Article visualizations:

Demographic variables such as gender, age, career age, family/marital status, and others were considered as independent variables. The study used an experimental design using simulation modeling based on some assumptions. These assumptions were based on data obtained from previous literature. It was found that all the identified factors are significant predictors of departure intentions. Further, it was concluded that issues of job security and professional maturity are the most likely reasons for intentions of leaving among higher education academicians.

This paper aimed to investigate the status of the research, development and extension (RDE) organization of a university as to the extent to which Knowledge Management practices were executed. It also aimed to explain the possible influence of organizational capacity to the execution of these practices. It was found that of the identified components of organizational capacity, organizational learning is most closely associated with the execution of Knowledge Management practices among RDE personnel, researchers and extension practitioners. It could therefore be concluded that a successful implementation of Knowledge Management practices relies largely on the organization’s ability to establish and encourage knowledge sharing among its members.

One of which is surface albedo. Akbari, et al. (2009), asserts that the use of modern reflective roofing and pavement materials can increase urban surface albedo by 0.1. This study utilized an agent-based simulation model in an experiment to verify whether this increase would bring about significant cooling of Philippine urban atmosphere. Real data obtained from reliable sources were used to set parameter values in the model. Simulation results showed that if the current levels of CO2 concentration and cloud cover would persist, such increase in albedo is not enough to significantly lower urban atmospheric temperature.

Using fractal analysis, the number of underlying dimensions associated with such phenomenon was determined using the global distribution of carbon dioxide emission mined from the United Nations Development Program reports. It was found out that the global carbon dioxide distribution is no longer in its natural state (the distribution being not fractal), with fossil fuel consumption and the level of economic development as the major factors of its current state of distribution. Finding alternative ways to reduce fossil fuel consumption is recommended since currently the world is very much dependent on fossil fuels.
