ABSTRACT In this article, we describe some of the work that was carried out at LookThatUp for des... more ABSTRACT In this article, we describe some of the work that was carried out at LookThatUp for designing an infrastructure enabling image-based search over the Internet. The service was designed to be remotely accessible and easily integrated to partner sites. One application of the technology, called Image-Shopper, is described and demonstrated. The technological basis of the system is then reviewed.
