Some of them fail to overcome the challenges of this important stage and eventually miss the opportunity to realise their full potential in life. About 13% of women and 7% men have been reported to have had sex at age 15 or below. There is inadequate knowledge and use of modern family planning methods. Currently the rate of contraceptive use among in school adolescents is not known.
