The study present tables and figures of data as a result of extraction by SQL and data analysis using the ranking of Computer course in Nursing College of Tobruk University from the final grade of 3rd year student of academic year 2021-2022 and 2022-2023. The result of the study shows the ranking of the course. The paired t-test for Computer and Average grade AY 2021-2022 has a correlation of 0.896282, a p-value of 0.000237, and AY 2022-2023 has 0.819637 and 0.0078 respectively, both showing significant difference, and Computer course is above the Average grade. ANOVA on courses compared for AY 2021-2022 at 9.160967 and AY 2022-2023 of 11.84815, have p-value below 0.000001, showing significant difference in terms of average.

Study participants are 4th year students of INP 3 of College of Nursing from Tobruk University. Result of the study shows that the students are competent enough in advance nursing procedures and fit to work as nurses in the future with an overall mean of 67.13, were repeaters has a mean of 59.97 and 70.59 for regular students. A significant difference were observe with a p-value of 0.000669 between the two groups.

Aim: In this study the researchers aimed to present and analyze the efficacy of students in performing vital signs and parenteral drug administration and how much they’ve improved after hospital duty. The hypothesis is that there will be significant improvement from RLE to INP 1. Methods: The research used quantitative research with natural experiment design for analysis of respondent performance in RLE and INP procedures in vital signs and drug administration. Respondents were 3 rd year students’ of INP 1 of College of Nursing from Tobruk University. The study used the retur...

In particular the computer skills involved included basic computer operation, word processing and presentation software. The respondents were 3rd and 4th year nursing students, currently enrolled or recently finished computer course and English courses for use in their formal public speaking or case presentation. The result showed competency of the nursing students as they perceived in their computer skills with a mean score of 3.59, 3.48 and 3.21 for basic computer operation, word processing and presentation software respectively. They also believed that computer skills helped in improving their English communication skills with a mean score of 3.34. No significant difference was shown when they were grouped according to year level. The result of the study can be used to improve the English and Computer education of Tobruk University...

Team teaching is used to perform this activity and evaluated by Return Demonstration in the laboratory class and once more in the Final Return Demonstration or final exam. Tabulating all procedures and steps is a tedious matter doing it manually. In this study the proponents designed an RLE Scorer web forms based on Google survey forms to collect students performance and to computer for their equivalent marks. The focus of the study is in RLE 3 or parenteral drug administration. The collected data was saved in the Google drive and downloaded later; the results were treated statistically to find the mean score in all 5 procedures of RLE 3, and to find the difference between male and female respondents and the difference of variance based on rating. It was shown that the students performed generally well reaching the passing mark. The male students fared better in all procedures compared to femalebut there was no significant difference established. The purpose of the study is to encourage technological adaptation in collecting performances of nursing students, promoting team teaching in training of nursing skills in RLE thus supporting quality nursing education and nursing informatics.

Belonging to the academic performance of the students, steps are necessary to improve it as performance and retention were becoming a great issue for educators, students and the nation. As the student performs, all academic measures were recorded into the database system, over the years it accumulated to a large amount. Data were forgotten, archived at the least. Then came educational data mining, with all its ability. Unknown and hidden data patterns of Nursing Informatics and accompanying subjects were extracted and analyzed using the same database grading system of Omar Al-Mukhtar University College of Nursing known as OMUCON-GSv1. Getting started with mining by employing database management methods and implementations like Structured Query Language to form a query, filter, pivot table and pivot chart, the system and the research generated valuable findings. The result of the study showed a favorable academic performance by the students of nursing and so with the ranking they got for Nursing Informatics. Overall the OMUCON-GSv1 can generate helpful and meaningful data as it promoted simple educational data mining. A vital element in the improvement of quality education for the College. Further study and advance data mining approach were recommended to greatly improve the outcome.

However academic grade does not always reflect the competence of students in clinical setting. This study was conducted to determine a possible correlation between student academic performance in the nursing specialization subjects and their clinical performance. Design and Method: The research employed a descriptive non-experimental approach using existing data sets. The grades of three batches of Omar Al-Mukhtar University College of Nursing (Libya) students were retrieved from the Office of the College Registrar and subjected to statistical analysis. Pearson Product Moment Coefficient was utilized to determine the relationship in the changes and movement of the two variables, Academic and Clinical Performance. Result: Positive correlation between academic and clinical performance was observed from the three groups of students considered in this study. Correlation was noted to consistently increase from the third to the fourth year for the two most recent batches of students suggesting enhanced appreciation of theoretical and clinical nursing among students. Students who perform well in the classroom setting performed similarly well in the clinical setting. Conclusion: The Academic Performance of 3rd and 4th year BS Nursing students of Omar Al-Mukhtar University College of Nursing correlates well with their Clinical Performance. This indicates that an academic performer rates as well in their clinical focus and may be attributed to their increased appreciation of nursing as they reach a higher year level.

Grading measures the students' academic capability. Database Management System plays a vital role in recording information of any kind. Grades or students mark can be recorded in a repository. As the student performs, all academic measures were recorded into the database system, over the years it accumulated to a large amount. Recorded data were useful in educational data mining as unknown and hidden data patterns of all courses, database grading system of Tobruk University College of Nursing known as TUCON-GSv2 a successor to OMUCON-GSv1 can be used to extract and analyze this data. Database management system methods and implementations like recording of data in tables, queries and report, using Visual Basic as front end for the system and Microsoft excel as report, the system and the research performs according to what is needed and generated valuable findings. Overall the TUCON-GSv2 can produce helpful and meaningful data as it promoted simple educational data mining. The system serves as a vital element in the improvement of quality education for the College. The main purpose of this study is to document and present the performance and operation of the system from inception up to its present form, solve the report generation challenge for retaining the old format integrated in the new system and for the promotion of DBMS, Computer Science and Nursing Education in Tobruk, Libya.
