To reduce the impacts of disaster, proper and massive mitigation education toward society is very imperative. Disaster mitigation education has been carried out in both formal and non-formal sectors. While National Disaster Management Agency (Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana) has educated the public massively, in formal sector there has been only regulation and guidance from the Ministry of Education. However, its implementation in local areas still encountered many obstacles and challenges, especially in Banyumas regency. AIM: This study aims to explore disaster mitigation process education in Banyumas Regency. METHODS: This qualitative study recruited 11 participants who involved in disaster mitigation process using purposive sampling method. A focus-group discussion (FGD) and in-depth interview method were adopted to explore data regarding disaster education. Researchers used a semi-structured interview form consisting of ten questions during the data collection process. Literatures related to disaster mitigation regulations were also critically analyzed. Data were recorded, trancripted, discussed, and categorized manually. RESULTS: As a result, the study revealed two main themes in disaster mitigation education: lack of law enforcement in implementing disaster education and lack of people's awareness for disaster education. The categories under the themes are disaster education regulation, lack of standardized disaster guideline and curriculum, and lack of disaster education awareness and education approach. CONCLUSION: Educating disaster mitigation through formal education from the early stage is very significant. Substantial matters need to be well constracted are guidelines for implementing disaster education in schools as well as curriculum based on the concepts and implementation, correct construct, and subject matter. Encouraging the awareness of disaster preparedness since an early age is important to instill the right techniques.

The research method used is desciptive research with quantitative approaches and empirical studies on Islamic Commercial Banks registered at Bank Indonesia during 2013-2017. Unresolved anxiety can cause depression. The research aims to determine the description of anxiety and depression in chronic renal disease (CKD) patients who undergo hemodialysis (HD) therapy in the initial phase. The study was a quantitative descriptive with a survey approach involving 43 HD patients for less than eight months. The research instrument implemented was the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis by presenting frequency and category distributions. The results discovered that 29 (62.8%) respondents suffered from anxiety; mild (32.6%), moderate (25.6%), and severe category (4.7%). Atraumatic care is a specific therapeutic treatment performed by nurses through intervention by e... more Atraumatic care is a specific therapeutic treatment performed by nurses through intervention by eliminating or minimizing psychological and physical stress suffered by children and family in health service system. The objective of this study is to give an overview on the effects of atraumatic care on parents’ satisfaction while children are being hospitalized. This study used correlational descriptive method with cross sectional approach. The 60 respondents as samples were selected with random sampling technique. The data analysys used chi square. The results showed autramatic care was performed in “Good” category with 60%. The parents satisfaction was on “Satisfied” level with 53,3%. Atraumatic care is proven to be correlated with family’s satisfaction with p value 0,045 < α 0,05. As a conclusion, there is an effect given by atraumatic care on family/ parents’ satisfaction while children are being hospitalized.

The aim of the reseach was discover the correlation between the spiritual level and anxiety in preoperative patients in the surgical inpatient units of RSUD Banyumas. This study was conducted from 12 November to 12 December 2019 in the surgical inpatient units of RSUD Banyumas. Caring environment has impact on the satisfaction, safety, and potential success of the services for the patients. The research aims at identifying the perception of society on caring environment as well as confirming the model of caring environment for providing emergency service in the hospital. This research employs descriptive exploration, involving 300 patients of emergency department from three hospitals in Banyumas. The analysis of decriptive data is conducted to categorize the perception of society on caring environment. The construct validity of caring environment is tested using confirmatory factor analysis. The result shows that the perceptions of society on caring environment in emergency department are good (86.3%) and fair (13,7 %). The objective of the research is to determine the effect of humidity, temperature, and room noise on sleep quality of (Intensive Care Unit) ICU patients. Methods: A quantitative research with the cross-sectional approach, involving 84 patients taken by consecutive sampling, with the inclusion criteria of at least having already spent more than two days in ICU, having age between 20-70 years, and being conscious and cooperative. The patients were observed using observation sheets and The Richards-Campbell Sleep Questionnaire (RCSQ). A thermohygrometer and sound level meter for noise recording were used to measure the temperature and humidity. Simple linear regression was used to analyze the data. Hospital as a health care facility seeks to create quality health care, affordable and increase p... more Hospital as a health care facility seeks to create quality health care, affordable and increase patient satisfaction. This study aims to identify satisfaction (assessment) to community health services on the installation of inpatient, outpatient, radiology, pharmacy and laboratory at a private hospital in Noida covering 14 elements of the service. The study design was descriptive survey techniques involving 120 respondents consisted of patients and former patients of the hospital taken by proportional random sampling technique. Analysis using the method of service performance in order to obtain the results of the research community satisfaction index (HPI) for the installation service inpatient, outpatient, radiology, laboratory and pharmacy are B (Good). Discipline of officers and timeliness into aspects that have the highest scores in five areas of the hospital services. There IKM components with sufficient predicate, ie courtesy and hospitality registration officer. There are no components that are predicated A or very good. It is suggested that these findings into consideration manajmen hospitals in improving quality of care, especially in the process of acceptance or enrollment of patients.

Stres kerja yang terjadi pada perawat dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa hal salah satunya yaitu beban kerja yang tinggi. Stres kerja pada perawat dapat berpengaruh terhadap kinerjanya, oleh karena itu stres kerja harus diatasi. Salah satu cara untuk menurunkan stres kerja pada perawat adalah dengan terapi musik. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui efektifitas terapi musik terhadap penurunan stres kerja perawat IGD di RSUD Dr. R. Goetheng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga tahun 2013. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan pre experimental design dengan metode one group pretest - post test. Teknik sampling menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 23 orang. Analisis data menggunakan uji paired simple t test. Hasil : Terdapat perbedaan antara stres kerja perawat sebelum dan setelah dilakukan terapi musik klasik, dengan nilai rata-rata sebelum dilakukan terapi musik klasik sebesar 2,52 dan SD = 0,511 dan nilai rata-rata setelah dilakukan terapi musik klasik sebesar 2,17 dan SD = 0,388. Dengan nilai p = 0,002 pada signifikan I± = 0,05. Kesimpulan : Terapi musik klasik efektif dalam menurnkan stres kerja pada perawat di ruang IGD RSUD Dr. R. Goetheng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga dengan effect size= 2,01. Kata Kunci: terapi musik klasik, stres kerja, perawat.

The role of gamification in promoting learner’ learning has been investigated empirically by many scholars. To date, mixed results about the effectiveness of gamification have been reported, and researchers frequently argue that the inappropriateness of certain techniques may have contributed to these mixed findings, especially toward disaster subject. Relatively little research that stated gamification in the disaster is an effective approach to learn the subject. Moreover, disasters and emergencies have been increasing all over the world. Disaster mitigation measures are those that eliminate or reduce the impacts and risks of hazards through proactive measures taken before an emergency or disaster occurs. Today, with technological advancement, acquiring knowledge and its application is regarded as the only effective way to prevent disasters or reducing its effects. The research also aimed to review the importance of gamification integration to support the existing education and the effect of different methods of education on disaster mitigation among Indonesia community. In this regard, having the gamification to disaster educational is possible for people to acquire and increase the level of knowledge, which in return, increases the motivation and engagement of the learner. The results showed that gamification integration positively affects learner’ learning compare to existing traditional classroom method.

Stres kerja yang terjadi pada perawat dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa hal salah satunya yaitu beban kerja yang tinggi. Stres kerja pada perawat dapat berpengaruh terhadap kinerjanya, oleh karena itu stres kerja harus diatasi. Salah satu cara untuk menurunkan stres kerja pada perawat adalah dengan terapi musik. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui efektifitas terapi musik terhadap penurunan stres kerja perawat IGD di RSUD Dr. R. Goetheng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga tahun 2013. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan pre experimental design dengan metode one group pretest - post test. Teknik sampling menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 23 orang. Analisis data menggunakan uji paired simple t test. Hasil : Terdapat perbedaan antara stres kerja perawat sebelum dan setelah dilakukan terapi musik klasik, dengan nilai rata-rata sebelum dilakukan terapi musik klasik sebesar 2,52 dan SD = 0,511 dan nilai rata-rata setelah dilakukan terapi musik klasik sebesar 2,17 dan SD = 0,388. Dengan nilai p = 0,002 pada signifikan I± = 0,05. Kesimpulan : Terapi musik klasik efektif dalam menurnkan stres kerja pada perawat di ruang IGD RSUD Dr. R. Goetheng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga dengan effect size= 2,01. Kata Kunci: terapi musik klasik, stres kerja, perawat.

The role of gamification in promoting learner’ learning has been investigated empirically by many scholars. To date, mixed results about the effectiveness of gamification have been reported, and researchers frequently argue that the inappropriateness of certain techniques may have contributed to these mixed findings, especially toward disaster subject. Relatively little research that stated gamification in the disaster is an effective approach to learn the subject. Moreover, disasters and emergencies have been increasing all over the world. Disaster mitigation measures are those that eliminate or reduce the impacts and risks of hazards through proactive measures taken before an emergency or disaster occurs. Today, with technological advancement, acquiring knowledge and its application is regarded as the only effective way to prevent disasters or reducing its effects. The research also aimed to review the importance of gamification integration to support the existing education and the effect of different methods of education on disaster mitigation among Indonesia community. In this regard, having the gamification to disaster educational is possible for people to acquire and increase the level of knowledge, which in return, increases the motivation and engagement of the learner. The results showed that gamification integration positively affects learner’ learning compare to existing traditional classroom method.
