Thus, the aforementioned variables were used alongside rainfall data to build an ordinal logistic regression model of flood susceptibility for geographical points in Rizal Province. The province, noted for its proximity to the country's largest lake (Laguna de Bay), has been affected by flooding incidents in recent years. Knowing the covariates that heighten an area's flood susceptibility may aid agencies concerned on urban planning and disaster management to take measures that will hopefully lessen the destructive impact of future flooding events. The most notable higherorder interaction effect was that of mean annual precipitation, a certain type of soil, and a low slope angle, providing support to the notion of using variables other than rainfall data to model flood susceptibility.

In this study, a 2 4 factorial design has been implemented. An experiment involving the presence of four (4) factors are analyzed in terms of having an influence on a viewer's behaviour after watching a randomly assigned video clip. Some media factors are undisputably believed to affect spectators but in reality are not really valid with much investigation, statistically speaking, particularly the form of violence involved as to whether violent act depicted is either verbal or physical. So long as the act committed is violent, it will have an effect on an individual no matter its form. Meanwhile, two interactions between factors were found to be significant namely the interaction between justification and type of media, and the interaction between justification and gender of perpetrator. These interactions indicate that the presence of justification, type of media as to whether it is live-action or animated, and the gender of perpetrator can greatly affect the changes in the aggression behavior of the viewer.

Alongside products endorsed, Network Marketing Organizations (NMO) introduced compensation plans that boosts the dedication of recruited individuals which includes unilevel, matrix and the now becoming popular, the binary plan. Alongside its recent fame, binary plan has been a subject of legitimacy issues, and certain studies are being done to prove its uniqueness from the illegal pyramiding. This study is aimed at analyzing the binary network structure in terms of its growth topology and profitability by modeling the network using probability distributions such as the uniform distribution. By predicting the growth of a certain network, companies and independent distributors will be able to organize their strategies in order to attain maximum profit and longer network life.

According to the statistics released by the National Statistics Office, the adolescent fertility rate has doubled from the year 2000 to 2010. This study aims to find a model that will explain the adolescent fertility rate and the factors that influence it through the course of time.
Using the time series data for adolescent fertility rate, a model was built using independent variables namely, literacy rate, gross domestic product, female labor employment and total maternal deaths. All of the mentioned variables were proven to be stationary series. Hence, the Vector Autoregressive (VAR) modeling technique was utilized. The final model the researchers have arrived at has shown that several lag values of the independent variables have a significant effect on the current value of the adolescent fertility rate at 0.10 level of significance.

These include life expectancy at birth, mean years of schooling, and the gross national income per capita. Building up on the Stiglitz report, the study aims to undermine the importance of the different variables considered in the study - gross domestic product, government efficiency, employment rate, social trust, mean schooling years, old-age dependency, mental hospital admission rate, life expectancy at birth, internet accessibility, suicide rate, total fertility rate, human immunodeficiency virus prevalence, tuberculosis incidence, refugee population, health expenditures, migrant inhabitants, and rural populations – which are, based on several studies, correlated with the index.
The researchers performed factor analysis to find common factors underlying the thirteen variables retained out of the original seventeen variables considered. The study identified three factors – economic development, mental capability, and health status. The first factor includes GPD, government performance, internet accessibility, social trust, health expenditures, and rural populations. The second factor formed incorporates mental hospital admission rate, mean schooling years, and old-age dependency ratio while the third factor consists of life expectancy at birth, total fertility rate, HIV prevalence, and tuberculosis incidence. The resulting factors coincide with the three dimensions determined by the United Nations Human Development Report Office (UNHDRO).
