RESUMEN Este artículo analiza narrativas de encierro de un grupo de personas que tematizan distin... more RESUMEN Este artículo analiza narrativas de encierro de un grupo de personas que tematizan distintas experiencias de clausura en sus trayectorias biográficas. Estas narrativas fueron construidas a partir de autoentrevistas, realizadas en el contexto de la crisis sociopolítico-sanitaria que afecta al mundo tras la declaración de pandemia por SARS-CoV-2. A partir de la invitación a contar una experiencia de encierro del pasado, del presente e imaginarios futuros, se exploran en clave temporal las vivencias de distintas generaciones sobre sus encierros y se promueve una reflexividad acerca de los procesos de crisis y las vivencias que estos adquieren para las generaciones jóvenes.

Northern Chile is home to the world’s largest copper ore deposits, which have been exploited for ... more Northern Chile is home to the world’s largest copper ore deposits, which have been exploited for thousands of years by different groups, at varying scales and for different purposes. In this context, it is important to develop new protocols to characterise the mineralogical variability of archaeological copper ores. A comprehensive and representative methodology in the analysis of minerals, the application of non-destructive analytical techniques, and the combination of insights from geological, archaeological and local knowledge are key to developing a copper mineral repository of the Atacama Desert area. Geochemical analyses were applied to the study of 568 samples from the archaeological site Pukara de Turi, with different techniques such as micro-XRF, XRD, QEMSCAN, Raman spectroscopy and technological studies. Adolescence is a critical step in learning healthy and wellness behaviours, which include physica... more Adolescence is a critical step in learning healthy and wellness behaviours, which include physical activity; furthermore the habits developed during this phase may continue into adulthood. If psychological well-being is considered one of the factors that facilitates adhesion to exercise and health and allows physical exercise to be practiced, adequately perceiving indicators of well-being should be teachers' main objective in teaching physical education at school. We aimed to establish the correspondence between teaching styles in physical education teachers for organising classes and the indices of psychological well-being perceived by students in learning contexts. We conducted a correlational descriptive study between teaching styles indicators (n = 15) using the Styles Questionnaire Educational Profiles (PEE) (Magaz and Garcia, 1998) and the perceptions of subjective well-being by students (n = 150) between 12 and 16 years of age using the Spanish version of Ryff's Scale of Psychological Well-Being (Diaz et al., 2005), corresponding to compulsory secondary education. The data analysis suggests a positive correspondence between the indices of psychological well-being perceived by the students with the way in which their physical education teachers taught the subject. The results showed the importance of the pedagogical transmission of physical activity as a model that encourages adolescents' psychological well-being as a basis for healthy behaviours in adulthood.

Implementation of a new design for the process of assembling an axial-flux permanent magnet synch... more Implementation of a new design for the process of assembling an axial-flux permanent magnet synchronous motor (AF PMSM) may lead to unstable motor parameters during operation at low and high speeds. In this paper, experimental data related to the AFPMSM used in an electric traction motor was monitored. The paper presents tracing of machine performance in order to find quality-related issues and to evaluate the assembly process. To assess the manual manufacturing process (low-volume production) and electrical machine performance, several motors, characterized by the same size and topology, were extensively tested. Useful AF PMSM parameters such as continuous torque and continuous current were measured. The winding temperature of the stators was also monitored and carefully examined. El propósito de este estudio transversal, es el de establecer indicadores de las estrategias de ... more El propósito de este estudio transversal, es el de establecer indicadores de las estrategias de afrontamiento en una muestra de jóvenes, estableciendo diferencias por género, relacionadas tanto por curso escolar como por práctica de actividad física de forma regular. La muestra está compuesta por jóvenes (N=119) con edades comprendidas entre 11 y 19 años, administrando cuestionarios de medida de la personalidad (NEO-FFI) y estrategias de afrontamiento (CSI). Los resultados muestran que los chicos presentan una media superior tanto en el manejo adecuado como en el manejo inadecuado de estrategias de afrontamiento, que las chicas. Además, puntúan más alto en las estrategias de afrontamiento de autocrítica; apoyo social, reestructuración cognitiva, evitación de problemas y retirada social, mientras que las chicas puntúan más alto en resolución de problemas, pensamiento desiderativo y expresión emocional.

At the same time, should be paid attention to those that facilitate a useful information and applicability to sports performance, trying offer direct feedback to the sports practices. Objective. Describe and establish relations between personality signals and contextuals situations regarding make decisions in sport practice. Method. A study was done with a random sample of athletes (N = 623) between 16 and 50 years old, using personality (BFQ) and make decisions (CETD) questionnaires. Results. RESUMEN: El descenso de los niveles de practica fisico-deportiva, asi como el aumento del consumo... more RESUMEN: El descenso de los niveles de practica fisico-deportiva, asi como el aumento del consumo de sustancias saludablemente nocivas repercuten de forma muy negativa en los adolescentes, ademas de influir en factores como el rendimiento y la motivacion orientados al ambito academico. El estudio presenta una muestra de 421 adolescentes de ESO y Bachillerato de la ciudad de Cartagena (Murcia, Espana). Se utilizaron cuestionarios sociodemograficos, la Escala de Motivacion Educativa (EME-S) y diferentes calificaciones escolares. Los resultados indican que los adolescentes activos tienen valores mas bajos en consumo de alcohol, tabaco y cannabis. Ademas presentan niveles mas altos de motivacion academica y un mejor rendimiento academico en las tres materias analizadas, matematicas, lengua y educacion fisica. Concretamente, el burnout destaca como una de las variables que mas respuesta ofrece en ese vinculo, teniendo en cuenta la adaptacion de los deportistas a sus entornos concretos de rendimiento. El proposito de esta investigacion se dirige a mostrar las relaciones existentes entre variables de personalidad, sociodemogra cas y burnout en una muestra de e-Players, (N=42, el 84% de la poblacion de jugadores profesionales de “League of Legends” en Espana), concretamente jugadores de la Liga de Videojuegos Profesional espanola, con edades comprendidas entre los 16 y los 28 anos (M=19.95; DT=2.55). Personality could be understood as a psychological system that emerges from the interaction between individual and environment, which evolves permanently mediating the intrapersonal functioning (such as self-perception, self-esteem, self-knowledge and self-regulation) and personal adaptation. RESUMEN: Hablar de discapacidad en la escuela, se trata de contemplar no sólo al estudiante que p... more RESUMEN: Hablar de discapacidad en la escuela, se trata de contemplar no sólo al estudiante que presenta deficiencias en su estructura física, sensorial o psíquica, sino que además vive en un contexto social que le obliga a interactuar con su medio para desempeñarse adaptado en las clases de educación física. La muestra (N=71), recogida aleatoriamente entre estudiantes de educación secundaria, compañeros de alumnos con discapacidad, con edades entre 12 y 18 años (M=14.57; DT=1.51). Con una metodología mixta, utilizando cuestionarios sobre cambio de actitudes y creencias hacia la discapacidad, y entrevistas a profesionales del entorno escolar (N=6), para contrastar la información obtenida en la parte cuantitativa. Aparecen altos valores de creencias hacia la discapacidad a favor de los chicos, mientras que las chicas muestran mayores actitudes hacia sus compañero/as discapacitado/as. De la misma forma, conforme aumentan las creencias hacia la integración, disminuyen el reconocimiento y la implicación, por lo que se reduce la intencionalidad.
