Les aspects liées à la production, mais aussi aux tentatives de l'installation et son fond théorique y sont abordés. Un volet final est réservé à la recherche qui a été mené. Il est question de spatialisation sonore, musique acousmatique, de l'environnement et son rapport à la création musicale entre autres sujets.

Sound installation by Juan Guillermo Dumay in the collective art show called "Untold works, scatt... more Sound installation by Juan Guillermo Dumay in the collective art show called "Untold works, scattered violet and a palm tree" in Small Terrain Project (Ghent, Belgium).

I designed an algorithm who will play audio files recorded the last 24 hrs before the show. This machine wil play in aleatory mode, a bunch of different sounds for 10 seconds in the left, center or right channel, The player could switch to silence (empty audio file) or not. In the meantime there’s a sound progression of a particular synthesizer included in the machine, source of several (at leat six) tones arranged and organized under microtonality, that going increasing from a pulsation of 0.1 cycles per second to 20 (hertz) in a variable but quite long amount of time. There’s also an injection of audio by a open microphone placed in the room with a long delay so you only listen the noise in out phase. The whole arrange of that electroacoustic machine is diffused by two or three speakers in order to put those sounds in the space of the room.

This algorythm is inspired by the notion of Acoustic Ecosystem by Agostino Discipio.
