A lot of knowledge has been gathered for collaborative networks so far, from defining network kinds to levelizing partnerships and also proposing models for partnership developments. But most of these efforts didn’t tackle a very vital obstacle which is detecting and predicting collaboration possibilities between enterprises. In this paper, a new enterprise characteristics classification is proposed, which will be used as a profile for characterizing enterprises susceptible to take part in a collaborative network. The proposed detection approach is based on the enterprise characteristics concept as well as collaboration network types. Also a hypothesis to rank the potential partners using KPIs is shown along with the big picture of this approach accompanied by the future work that has...

The approach is based on a formalized vision of Danger/Risk/Consequence chain that is defined as the primary schema of the proposed methodology. The DRC chain indicates five risk-related concepts and their interrelationships, which is able to well describe risk-related collaborative contexts. Cascading effect in the concept chain are presented for further interpreting. Furthermore, a supply chain scenario of three use cases is given to illustrate the proposed framework.

In dynamic and uncertain environment, small teams and big organizations can benefit from interaction with intelligent assistance. For that purpose, various behavior and relationships in situations should be effectively collected and fused. This paper proposes very early steps toward developing theoretical method for the intelligent collaboration of small teams and their big organization environment. Three main subjects are addressed in this paper: (i) Behavior intelligence support for virtual organizations; (ii) Situations behavior digitization, focusing on scenario recognition and modeling; (iii) Data fusion and behavior pattern mining, based on situation-based behavior modeling and heterogeneous behavior model fusion.

The concrete exploitation of these risks and opportunities is generally depending on the ability of users to analyze multi-dimensional situations, to mobilize their experience and to foresee consequences. In this article, a new and original data science-based vision of risk and opportunity management for decision-making purpose is introduced. The main expected benefit of this vision is to enable decision makers to manage the performance trajectory of a considered system by visualizing and combining the impact of risks and opportunity.

The authors present a case study of Card Union to investigate how companies can develop innovative models of service delivery at different stages to adapt to the changing environments of electronic business. Their analysis demonstrates that B2B2C models allow firms to extend their product and service varieties through information integration and delivery so as to obtain the benefits of long-tail effects and economies of scope. The authors' research provides valuable insights about the evolution of B2B2C models and practical guidance for managers to effectively design and deploy their e-business models.

The core objective of CSSC is to provide different catering enterprises with supply chain services. Instability, non-standardization, specialty and diversity characteristics of the Chinese catering industry inevitably lead to demand uncertainty of CSSC, directly resulting in the uncertainty of operation and supply side. The uncertainty of supply chain system is the basis of robust optimization study, under the influence of uncertainty, robustness is extremely important to ensure stable income and continuous operation of supply chain. This research classifies various uncertainty scenarios, based on robust optimization method. Two strategies, service coordination with widely knowledge sharing, and synchronous decision with intelligent inducement, are designed to induce and integrate personalized demand to get the scale effect and the coordination of the entire supply chain. From a point of quantitative view, this research builds up robust optimization model to improve robustness of CSSC, deposing the target into two coordinated parts. The coordination is of great sense, including two objectives simultaneously, the first one aims to maximize the delivery rate of order demand, the second one aims to optimize profit of CSI and FCSP. According to data examination, the coordinative strategies and robust optimization model can effectively control the uncertainty of the whole supply chain, and then improve the robustness of CSSC.

The integration and collaboration of enterprise systems offer significant challenges, while the problem is the difficulty for the integration of distributed heterogeneous information system as the partnership changes. The emerging technologies of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Semantic Web offer promising solutions by enhancing the reusability and interoperability of different systems and promoting cooperation among business partners. This paper analyzes the requirements for On-Demand Integration of supply chain applications and discusses various integration solutions and their challenges. The analysis indicates that an approach combining the Semantic Grid and SOA technologies will be an appropriate solution. Therefore, a generic conceptnal architecture for the integration by using Semantic Grid enabled SOA approach is proposed. But comparing to other kinds of enterprises, they are challenged by more uncertainty and complex situations. In the context of a KIO, various small teams can be dynamically organized to collaboratively pursue knowledge creation initiatives. As these small teams, which bred from KIOs, often involve activities that cannot be fully predetermined, they need to be supported by related resources and services in a more agile way during their operation and evolution stages. This paper presents a new three-layer collaboration framework for agile operation of small teams on the basis of existing models from the paradigm of Collaborative Networks, with a set of roles and mechanisms proposed in each layer. Considering the framework, related digital platforms and artificial intelligence applications can be developed, giving effective support to small teams' knowledge creation processes.
