Annotation. Some problems of establishing psychological contact during the interrogation of the s... more Annotation. Some problems of establishing psychological contact during the interrogation of the suspect are considered, it is suggested to take into account tactics taking into account the situations of this investigative action. Psychological contact is a necessary prerequisite for the main task-to establish the objective truth in each criminal case. If the investigator does not have the ability to establish emotional contact with the suspect, then there are some doubts about his professional training and suitability to perform his functional duties successfully and properly. The problem of inability to establish psychological contact is the lack of necessary information about the identity of the suspect. In such cases, an analysis of the available data on the suspect is essential. Perspective directions of criminalistical researches in this sphere of knowledge are considered.

A novel Ultra Wideband (UWB) wearable textile icon-type antenna is presented for WBAN application... more A novel Ultra Wideband (UWB) wearable textile icon-type antenna is presented for WBAN applications. It comprises of radiating patch which is hexagonal in shape and partial ground plane. The design geometry is optimized to attain wider bandwidth in the UWB frequency ranges. Square shaped notch is introduced on the ground and unique slots on radiator are also introduced. Entire slots represent the “Power” icon. The proposed antenna dimension is 40 × 34 × 2.7 mm3 which cover bandwidth of 16.86 GHz. The proposed antenna performances are analyzed by Computer Simulation Technology (CST).

This system can be implemented in a Bio-floc fish farm to monitor and control the water quality parameters i.e., Potential of Hydrogen (pH), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Temperature and Water level. An IoT app is used for this system where users can monitor the water parameters and control the pumps individually with the help of the internet. This system is capable of working at a stretch which will help in creating an environmentally friendly system for a better future of Bio-floc fish farming.

Waste management is one of the biggest concerns in our day to day livings and environment. The tr... more Waste management is one of the biggest concerns in our day to day livings and environment. The traditional method of our waste management carries lacking in some particular areas such as garbage overflows causing environmental pollution and unhygienic living conditions. Besides the amount of time and manpower requires in this field is extensive. This research proposes an advanced method in which waste management is more likely to be automated and saves time as well as cost. By using this advance method, a Smart Bin has been designed and implemented. Microcontroller is used to form the heart of this system interfacing with sensors to detect waste levels and a GSM for data transmitting and receiving purposes. This proposed system would have an automated waste level detection process and also a smart monitoring and overall management process. The technologies that have been used in this system is good enough to prevent the garbage overflow and ensures the partial and perfect waste management and monitoring system maintaining the green environment.

Maneuvering of an electric wheelchair is to assist the paralyzed people in the difficult situation. The proposed design can benefit disabled people and improve their survival and quality of life. The wheel chair is the most ubiquitously used aid to enhance the personal accessibility of people with disabilities. For those who are unable to propel a manual wheel chair, power wheel chairs are useful. Disable people face difficulties to travel here and there, this device will help them to climb the transport from the bus stop. This paper describes the overall architectural design of hardware and software, including the system of communication. Arduino, Solid-works and Proteus were used for software and hardware design and a joystick and keyboard were used to operate the chair.

To support traumatized individuals in a sticky situation a navigating electric wheelchair is needed. In this paper eye-ball controlled wheelchair has been suggested to mitigate the dependency of disable person from others. Based on the movement of eye-ball the wheelchair has been controlled. A camera has been spotted in the goggles, to detect the location of the eye pupil and acquire the eye image by computer vision methods. The recommend control system can welfare for paralyzed individuals to refine their existence. In this paper hardware and software, architecture has been described. To detect eye pupil location the Open computer vision (OpenCV) library has been used. The main control mechanism of this whole system has been done by a raspberry pi.

The operation of the internal combustion engine will be automated by the use of externally installed electromechanical devices. Negligence of train drivers and gatekeeper is the main reason of this accident. No fruitful steps have been taken so far in these areas. So this system is designed to help out the railway department. This paper deals with intelligence of train engine with automatic gate controlling to avoid accidents at level crossings. The main concept of the system is that, depending on arrival or departure of the train near level crossing, the crossing gate will close or open automatically with displaying proper signal like Red or Green signal. That means when the train approaching near level crossing, the crossing gate will close and showing Green signal for train. So train can move without any interruption of its speed. With an increase in population the demand of security has increased. But due to lack of proper resources proper security cannot be arranged. To achieve proper security, it requires a heavy payment, which not all can afford. The aim of the research was to provide a solution to the problem by designing a smart robot that can provide quality security with a fraction of price, when considering long term effects. The idea was to design and implement a rover, that takes the advantage of modern technology allowing it to roam autonomously without the assistance of humans, scouring the area and alerting the control room once any abnormality has been detected. The robot has built in GPS navigation for figuring out the routes of its workplace. The robot is also equipped with a smart camera that allows for capturing of live video and images of the intruder when the time comes.

Driver’s drowsiness detection during driving is a car safety technology that helps to prevent acc... more Driver’s drowsiness detection during driving is a car safety technology that helps to prevent accidents caused by the driver getting drowsy. Drinking alcohol and seat-belts not being fastened are also other reasons for road accidents. In this paper, the design of a system that can alert the drivers and stopping them from driving while being in a drowsy state to mitigate road accidents have been presented. The system is also focused on ensuring safety issues like fastening the seatbelt, preventing unauthorized access, preventing driving while being in a drunk state, etc. The implemented system uses Artificial Intelligence-based advanced algorithms to detect the expressions of the driver and can calculate the rate of the driver’s drowsiness. The system detects drowsiness by extracting the ‘Eye Aspect Ratio’ (EAR) calculation of facial landmark localization and the authentication is verified by incorporating with the facial recognition technology. The outcome of this paper can be stated that the system ensures the safety and security of both the driver and the vehicle by preventing the driver from falling asleep while driving. In addition, sending the location of the car at the time of any kind occurrence of accidents is another outcome of this research work.

They have become a better alternative for traditional human assistance or reception desks. However, there are no dynamic operating systems or user interfaces available for kiosk devices. This paper represents a development of an operating system for kiosk devices called ‘Nekray', which was built on Linux Kernel environment. It was designed to be dynamic, fast, user-friendly, and user interactive. The developed operating system avails the option to change the data of its features as per requirement. It also supports plug and play feature and can be installed in any low-cost hardware board. Furthermore, built-in AI is also a part of the developed system that performs its features through image processing. The system maintains the privacy and interactive transition of data to its users on kiosk devices.

These types of on-skin electronic devices can be used for biomedical purposes, i.e. biophysical sensors, biochemical sensors. These sensors are usually developed with the layers of different types of materials drawn on a piece of paper that can be placed on the skin of a human body. This paper represents the development of a novel on-skin thin polymer (paper substrate) based temperature sensor. The conductor model of the sensor has been designed using graphite and copper. This sensor can detect the temperature of a human body when attached to the skin and the use of thin polymer makes it cost-efficient. The developed sensor can be easily fabricated and integrated as a smart biological data collection sensor.
