The minimisation of the risks involved in the surgery and recovery phases is also of tremendous relevance. The aims of the present research were to clinically and biochemically evaluate the healing process after implant surgery (dental implants) using dynamic surgical navigation following prior bone augmentation. Thirty healthy patients who had implant treatment were analysed. The study participants (30 patients) were randomised between two groups. The 15 patients in the study group were treated with Navident dynamic navigation by using a flapless technique. The control group included 15 subjects in whom the implantation procedure was performed classically using the elevation flap full-thickness method. The material obtained is subjected to strict procedures aimed at reducing the amount of bacteria in the autograft. The aim of this study was the evaluation of the efficacy of the autogenous dentine matrix produced by grinding the patient’s own tooth for the augmentation of maxillary bone defects and the evaluation of the microbiological status of the material obtained. Alveolar bone repair was performed with an autogenous dentin matrix in four patients. In each case, an autogenous bone graft substitute obtained by grinding the patient’s own tooth was used. The tooth-derived material was then used for alveolar augmentation. The obtained material was tested to assess its microbiological profile. The study material consisted of 20 human teeth (the study group—12 demineralised teeth, the control group—8 teeth). A commercially available Icon preparation and an experimental preparation were used for the study with addition 2% of YF3 (yttrium trifluoride) added as an indicator to facilitate microscopic observation. Each tooth was divided into two zones, blue (Icon) and red (experimental preparation). The formulation of the developed infiltrant material includes typical methacrylate monomers used in dentistry, an author’s adhesion monomer containing metronidazole, a photoinitiating system and yttrium trifluoride (YF3). The main objective of the study was to evaluate penetration into decalcified root cementum using scanning electron microscope of an experimental preparation with the characteristics of a dental infiltrant compared to a commercial preparation with the addition of YF3 as a contrast agent. Microscopic observations showed that YF3 particles virtually did not penetrate deep into the root cementum—this was mainly due to the particle size of YF3. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the efficiency of the myorelaxant effect of CBD after the transdermal application in patients with myofascial pain. (2) Methods: The Polish version of the Research Diagnostic Criteria for Temporomandibular Disorders (RDC/TMD Ia and Ib) was used. A total of 60 patients were enrolled in the study and were randomly divided into two groups: Group1 and Group2. The average age in Group1 was 23.2 years (SD) = 1.6 years) and in Group2, it was 22.6 years (SD = 1.86). This was a parallel and double-blind trial. Group1 received CBD formulation, whereas Group2 received placebo formulation for topical use. The masseter muscle activity was measured on days 0 and 14, with surface electromyography (sEMG) (Neurobit Optima 4, Neurobit System, Gdynia, Poland). Pain intensity in VAS (Visual Analogue Scale) was measured on days 0 and 14. (3) Results: in Group1, the sEMG masseter activity significantly decreased (11% in the right and 12.6% in the left masseter muscles). In Group2, the sEMG masseter activity was recorded as 0.23% in the right and 3.3% in the left masseter muscles. Pain intensity in VAS scale was significantly decreased in Group1: 70.2% compared to Group2: 9.81% reduction. Patients were asked to apply formulation twice a day for a period of 14 days. (4) Conclusion: The application of CBD formulation over masseter muscle reduced the activity of masseter muscles and improved the condition of masticatory muscles in patients with myofascial pain.
