Approximately 29% of patients present nonspecific manifestations such as postprandial abdominal discomfort (mainly pain), flatulence, diarrhea, and steatorrhea, among others. 3 Around 10 to 30% develop complications, including diverticular hemorrhage, intestinal obstruction, intestinal invagination, abscess formation, free perforation, and peritonitis, which require surgical intervention. 7-14 The diagnosis of jejunal diverticulosis represents a true challenge, particularly in its acute presentation, since this segment of the intestine may be difficult to evaluate endoscopically
