Słowikowskiego 1 street in Lublin, starting from the 1960s up to the present day. The paper introduce an interdisciplinary way description and presentation of the changes in the structure of the church, phases of transformations and shows the places where older objects could exist before church in current shape.

These works include measurement of the entire fortress with the use of laser scanning. The analysis was carried out on the face of the wall, gradually degrading due to external factors and incorrect protection of the masonry. For detailed analysis, clouds of points from the period of 2 years (2017−2018) were used, taking into account the discussed northern part of the wall of the Great Tenaille (Wielkie Kleszcze). The paper explains the importance of the surveying process for the conservation works aiming at protection of the historical tissue from further degradation.

The authors of the paper focus on the survey of the postern located under the eastern slope of the Kłodzko Fortress and connecting the town with the upper levels of the fortification. With the use of laser scanning, a three-dimensional image of the postern was obtained. Based on the results of measurements, it is possible to specify the dimensions of tunnel elements which are difficult to measure, such as the buried fragment of the postern and the height of the embankment located above the tunnel. The research conducted by the authors of the article has been juxtaposed with the available archival materials concerning this part of the Kłodzko Fortress.

Analiza kompozycyjna oraz funkcjonalna istniejącej zabudowy uwzględniającej modernistyczny gmach Powszechnego Domu Towarowego skłania do dyskusji na temat konieczności ingerencji we wskazaną tkankę miejską. Wartość „dodana”, efekt synergii, objawia się w efektach uzyskanych poprzez zachowanie istniejącej zabudowy, nadanie jej nowej wartości użytkowej przy poszanowaniu i uwydatnieniu wzajemnych relacji pomiędzy pierwotną funkcją,estetyką i kompozycją przestrzenną. Tadeusz Witkowski projektując w 1959 roku Powszechny Dom Towarowy (PDT) zmierzył się z lokalizacją wielkopowierzchniowej funkcji handlowej w ścisłym Centrum miasta Lublin. Wyczucie przez architekta kompozycji bryły, zrozumienie przestrzeni i zachowanie skali otaczającej zabudowy przyczyniło się do podkreślenia wartościowych osi widokowych i kompozycyjnych. W 2010 r. spółka inwestorska, właściciel budynku PDT, przedstawiła plan wyburze...

The building is the part of the palace-park complex entered into the register of monuments because of its historical, aesthetical and landscape values. From 1970s, it is the headquarters of a social welfare home. Over the years, this function enforced many changes in the functional layout of the building to adapt it to the needs of people with various types and levels of disability. Despite many minor renovations and modifi cations, the palace didn’t undergo complete overhaul, which would greatly improve the technical condition of the original fabric. This aim of article is to analyse introduced functional changes, which were supposed to facilitate the use of the building by the handicapped, and to consider what actions must be undertaken in order to improve its technical condition. The authors of the paper underline the need to start renovation works on the basis of the archive documentation...

The inventory of the site was made using laser scanning measurements. The article draws attention to the specificity of the inventory of historical sites, their complexity and diversity of architectural details that are important for proper revitalisation and further preservation works.

They analyse the possibilities to use the space incorporated into the existing fabric of a historical object on the basis of a building survey. This article scrutinises the problem of interference in a very particular military object and all related issues that might arise in this area. Postindustrial warehouses are located in the donjon, which is the last ring of defence. These secondary buildings touch two interesting issues: the introduction of the new function to the whole complex and, on the other hand, the interference in the original form of the ramparts situated over casemated halls of the courtyard. To address this problem, the authors analyse the existing structure for its functionality, usability and design, presenting its advantages, disadvantages and p...

It is used as a modern inventory technique, most often in the creation of archival or conservation documentation. It gives the opportunity to obtain a very large amount of spatial data of the facility thus helping to improve operations in the field of conservation but also reduces the margin of error in the inventory and then design documentation. It is useful due to the growing BIM technology, through which three-dimensional models of existing objects of various scales are obtained. This article presents research comparing the traditional measurement method and the modern one with the use of a laser scanner. The research is a compilation of the duration of architectural inventory techniques as well as the accuracy of the measurements made and of the following architectural drawings. The result of the research is a relative percentage ratio showing the acceleration of inventory works with a simple constructi...
