Wo... more Several studies have shown a positive relation between self-esteem and psychological wellness. Women's mental health is considered a major factor in individual and social welfare. In inequitable and unequal societies with high levels of domestic violence, it has become necessary to work and understand the role of the women as a vital member of society. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a positive effect on women's selfesteem who receive female empowerment workshops. This research involved 20 adolescents aged 12 to 14 years, the sample was divided into two groups: control and experimental, with ten participants each. Both groups completed a pretest and a posttest related to self-esteem.
