A woman with anemia who experiences heavy hemorrhage during childbirth is at higher risk of developing a reproductive tract infection resulting in chronic pain which persists until old age. Nutritional status is important to female health well-being social cultural and gender inequalities and natural and human-induced disasters cause poor nutritional status. Nutrition of females living in poverty best depicts how the social and biological circumstances of females change over the life cycle and how the effects of these circumstances on womens nutrition are indeed cumulative. Thus society must take on the following priority actions to improve womens nutrition. Food needs must be met so women can consume adequate energy and nutrients.
